Because if Lukaku gets injured, they can call on Rashford and Martial (and Zlatan in 3 weeks) as international quality replacements in that specific position

If Vydra gets injured we have very few players who are strong in that no.10 role or who would regard it as their main position

 

But I suspect Vydra will come on at 60 minutes. Just not from start

This is their only real chance of a trophy this season. They lose this and they're out of both domestic cups to lower league opposition. It heaps more pressure and criticism on Jose and his squad.

We have no real chance of this trophy. We lose this and it's to be expected, no criticism on GR or the squad. We then have a sole focus on nothing but league games to get us promoted until May.

I want to win but this is a more important game for United to win than for us.

Been really impressed watching the second half performance. Certainly had our moments while the second string defence has looked resolute. Far better performance than any of our recent FA CIp ties against Chelsea or Man Utd.
