Carl Sagan
Searching the forum, I can't find any posts about this season's FA Youth Cup. We're the tie of the third round, at home to ten-times winners Man United. The game's going to be at Pride Park on Wednesday 13th December at 7pm. Let's hope it's unlucky for for the team in red. https://www.dcfc.co.uk/news/2017/11/rams-to-face-man-utd-in-fa-youth-cup

I think I remember the draw being announced, but with venue to be arranged. It's great that it will be at Pride Park as hopefully they will get some fans there, which will be good for our youngsters. I hope they put a strong team out, including those eligible for the under 18s that are currently playing for our under 23s. I've never seen them play, apart from on Rams TV as their home games are usually at the Training Centre. We can expect a thriller with plenty of goals after the 5-5 draw at the weekend! Not seen any announcements, but the match is listed in the U18 fixtures on the official site. Agree it's key to play a strong team. Would be nice to see Luke Thomas running at the young Man Utd defence!

Reading the forum as they do, the club has now made an announcement confirming the details, though rather unhelpfully not including the (in the fixture list) 7pm kickoff time: https://www.dcfc.co.uk/news/2017/11/fa-youth-cup-details-confirmed. Very surprised Alex Babos hasn't had a sniff of the action so far.Two good feet,a great asset for CM,which I think is his best position and passes neatly (but not always the 'safe' option). Also shows an ability to run beyond strikers -I reckon he'd be pretty good with Chris Martin.
