We are strengthening an area where we were weak in the second half of last season and have done our business early. Good stuff, altho which CBs will Rowett keep now? We've seen Pearce get mauled in a high-line and I suppose there should be question marks as to whether Shackell will still have the legs following a 'bitty' season. Then there's the fact we know Rowett signed Shotts at Birmingham because he wanted a higher line. It would also show a bit of thought into addressing our late goal problem. I can see why.
