Text book. Anyone trying to pinch this will be in trouble, well they certainly won’t be able to drive as it’s laced with brandy port and Baileys. If you could make a gluten and dairy free one look just as nice I think I’d move south and be your lodger. ?? froggg
Gap tooth ram
Is it wrong that I'm excited to see what this thread produces today? No pressure on the budding master chefs! froggg
Day
I feel like a new thread is needed for the new year, “Rate my dinner”, none of these posts without pics. I prefer rating others over cooking myself, not that I’m not capable, some will have seen with my mash cake a few weeks back which was sublime. If we can give some guidance to those that are new to the kitchen like Froggg and still learning how to handle a spatula. Don’t be a quitter mate, it was a birds trifle out a box on full zoom that’s all. Everything around it was out a dolls house to make it look massive. Ive said too much. Rev
Mince turkey. Bring a pan of spuds to the boil, for mashing. Make a simple pasta type dough from plain flour, 2 eggs and boiling water, roll out and cut with large glass. Drain and mash potatoes, fry chopped onion in butter, then combine the turkey, potato and onion in a bowl. Spoon this filling into the middle of the circular dough, then press the edges together like a miniature Cornish pasty. Drop the shapes into boiling water for a couple of minutes, until they float in the pan, then remove and place in a bowl of cold water. Remove from water and drain on kitchen towel, heat butter in a frying pan, add chopped bacon then fry off the Perogi until nicely browned and crisp. Voilà, serve with brown sauce for a easy delicious brunch. Angry Ram, i-Ram, froggg and 1 other 3
