I actually feel a bit sorry for Wassall after this, after 80 minutes everything was looking so good. And they had genuinely played quite well up until that point. Adslegend Posted March 12, 2016 Share Posted March 12, 2016 At 3-0 we should be closing the game out comfortably. The game was won. No need to go more attacking at all and ultimately cost the game for us. Up until this point I've been behind Wassall but after this we need somebody else in without a doubt. Can't see how he could possibly hold onto the job for next season so getting someone else in now would be ideal. Best case scenario is they give us the spark to turn things around and go into the playoffs with a bit of good form. Worst case scenario we stay in the championship for another season but at least the new man has an idea of what to change during the summer. So what does he do, takes off Thorne the controller and Martin the holder, and replaces them with Bent & Blackman who play on the shoulder. 1. Blackman & Bent do not hold up the ball in any shape or form. Which just adds pressure onto the team. 2. And now you're lacking a DM to protect the back 4. Why not just go like for like and bring Hanson on for Thorne, at least then we keep the shape. Absoulte disgrace, get this joker out of the first team Mel. He hasn't got a clue!
