paintingstandsatderby
McLaren.....Such a shame to see the smarmy talking tufty headed one struggling. That is all!Ward.Seemed strange watching him playing for the red dogs earlier. Will you clap him or jeer him when he returns?

The Schtevie coaster i find amusing from a distance but don't have any ill will towards him.

paintingstandsatderby
I haven't to ward, but can't help having a dislike of tufty after his final months here and his politicians answers re his future. Be interesting to see where he gets a job if he ends up getting the boot at newcastle
TheDeadlySaul
The Mac was sacked and got a job at a bigger club and Ward was released and got a 4 year deal at a another championship club even with his dodgy hamstrings. I have nothing against either of them.
StaffsRam
When he returns? We could even have his old treatment table ready and waiting for the inevitable twang of the hamstring halfway through the first half.....
Chris Mills
Won't boo ward, why would I? We didn't renew his contract! Mad for the walley I wouldn't mind watching him managing a league one team next season.
Sith Happens
I reckon he (Ward) will get a really good reception if he plays.....really good player for us, at a time when quality was in small supply.

Uptherams
Steve's record for his last 20 odd games is awful. Just checked, 5 wins in his last 24 matches. For the league it's 4 wins in his last 23 matches.

DesertRam
So long as Wardy doesn't repeat that goal against the reddogs, when he gets back here, I'm sure he'll get a good reception thou.

ram1964
ward was a good servant to the club ,Stevie Mac however did the club and fans a disloyal service by in my opinion not showing 100 percent conviction and loyalty to the club. Once the toon showed an interest this was followed up by conceit and blatant avoidance on addressing the situation.IF he had come out clean and said look love Newcastle a job I really want Prem league club blah blah blah would have been disappointed but respected the guy and been grateful of what he had done for us ,but to me just comes across as a money grabbing sod with low virtue and few morals .May he be reminded that this was his third stint with us as a player ,assistant to Jim smith and we took him with tarnished reputation having flunked previously billy big style as England coach , and a walking disaster at forest .STeve think your a very good coach a very poor manager and a man of low morals not to be trusted .
