sage
Lighten up, I posted that moments after he hit the post with that shot that just creeped past the keeper. There's no room in our new system for a poster with no sense of humour.I was in the pub when you made that comment and halfway through a shish/tikka kebab when i saw it. I get grouchy when I'm disturbed having fun.
RIMBAUD
is this evidence of sage having a plan B?
sage
is this evidence of sage having a plan B? The kebab was plan B. I have a curry in the slow cooker. That will be lunch and dinner tomorrow now.
RIMBAUD
'Slow cooker' sounds like a bloke playing for draws... anyway - enjoy (fwiw -I remain unconvinced by Weimman. I hope he comes good tho')
richinspain
So, which Spanish team is going to take Weimann on a year long loan at Christmas? (Raul mark II )
Carl Sagan
Brilliant skill by Weimann to flick the ball over his shoulder into his stride, and then turn inside the defender. The shot wasn't the best, but even so only a quite miraculous save prevented a goal. Very exciting player who set the Premier League alight when he burst on the scene. Ambitious
Weimann is a very good footballer, questionable finisher, but he's technically better than Russell. I have no doubts about that.I do think he lacks something upstairs, though. I'd like to think the manager can point him in the right direction and get the best out of him. WorksopRam
Didn't Bent say that Weimann was the best finisher he'd ever played with?

AshfieldRam
He's getting some seriously unfair criticism! He's come in too a brand new club and is in a fight for one of 2 wide positions. He's hardly had a chance for us to judge him yet.i rate him. He works extremely hard and is a great option to have. Versatile too
LesterRam
all we need now is someone to contact his missus via twitter and give her some flack like we did with Keogh, what a shocking thread !!!
DerbyRam!
think he has the potential to do extremely well, give him time, and for the love of god play him in the middle behind martin somehow

sage
Which system Sage? Our main one 4-3-3. which is the gist of the OP. He kind of fits into 4231 but not as well as others and only really fits into the diamond.

Alph
Just don't play him on the wing and let's have a gander. He needs time. As a winger I'm with Sage. Seems fairly useless. Centrally he seems to have more ideas on moving. Got a more reliable touch than Russell who can either be Ibe or Sammon.
The Scarlet Pimpernel
I'm not so sure 4-3-3 will be our main system. I feel that Clements approach is very much game by game thus requiring a squad of depth and variables.
