Kovalev destroyed Shabranskyy. Probably could have been stopped in round 1.

Just watched IFL interview with Fury. Feel for him. I like it when he's himself more and not playing up. Really hope he comes back.

Late with the stoppage wasn't he? The lad had clearly gone well before the ref stepped in. Devastating work from Kovalev.

Yeah, was surprised it wasn't called on the 2nd knockdown at the end of the first.

What was with the crowd? It looked like a small venue but they said Madison Square Garden?

Some good fights to be made at that weight. Badou Jack fights at that weight now. Maybe Adonis Stevenson could show up more than once per year.

Shame we've not got much British interest amongst all the eastern Europeans and Americans.

Big fat Terry O'Connell would have called that off way before. And rightly so.

Kovalev's punches sounded heavy. Yeah, some good fights to be had now.

Just watched that IFL interview with Tyson. Either he's not getting his license back or be's bankrupting UKAD. Can only see one outcome. Or maybe they will give him a two year ban, time already served. And he accepts it. Just can't see that scenario happening.

True, but don't be greedy...we're all over the heavyweights and super middleweights. :D

The welterweight division is the best in the world, but it's one of the least active. US promotions are rubbish.

Errol Spence has only fought three times in two years, and it will be eight months since his last fight against Brook when he faces Lamont Peterson in January, another who has only fought once since October 2015.

Khan is off the radar. Keith Thurman has no fights planned since facing Danny Garcia last March, likewise Danny Garcia hasn't fought since March nor does he have an opponent named. He, also, has only fought 3 times since August 2015.

Shawn Porter has a decent resume with Brook, Thurman, Broner and Berto as 4 of his last 6 opponents. But his recent win against Adrian Granados came 7 months after the Berto fight and it will probably be another 7 months until he fights again.

The whole set-up in the US is terrible.

You can't get excited about them. Have to wait too long between fights. The excitement from one fight should carry fans into the next.

Can't do that with a fight every 7 months

Channel 5 has a few fights from Leicester. Joe Hughes up next fighting for a European title.

He has a physical condition where his right hand side of his upper body is not as fully grown as his left.. His left arm is 2 inches longer than his right and he can't fully turn his right hand over which affects his hooks and uppercut.

He's up against a Swedish fighter. Away to start now.

Lomachenko vs Rigondeaux is next weekend. Potential fight of the year.

Probably barely get a pub full of viewers from the UK sadly.

I've never seen Rigondeaux fight. Just highlights of his career. Seen Lomachenko though and he doesn't do boring.

Bellew vs Haye rescheduled for 5 th May

Would love to see Haye win and where that would take him, Fury perhaps third time lucky even though Tyson has said he’ll never fight him again.

Bellew v Fury would be a joke, Bellew looked bloated v Haye and is no way a HW.

Groves v Eubank Jr is the fight that I can’t wait for, a real 50/50.

Yup, Groves v Eubank jr is going to be brilliant.

Styles are great, the stamina v the power, the jab v the uppercuts. Don't know who to support.

The atmosphere will be brilliant, the build up should be. Hopefully English gets involved. I love an off-tangent news conference while everone's waiting for him to pick the perfect 4 syllable word.

Oh, and how could i forget Kalle chewing his nut off in the middle of it.

I wonder how many people will shell out for this one given Haye's recent history of pulling out of fights?

Must admit, I'm a bit underwhelmed by the thought of them going through another build up. It got a bit boring the last tine.

Was just the Theatre at MSG - the Ice Hockey was in the main arena. Probably 1500 in attendance.

First fights I've seen live (undercard was massive - must have been 9 fights), enjoyed it, despite the number of Yanks who can't handle a beer and have no concept of banter.

Was very surprised the ref left it so late with the stoppage - seemed to want to see Shabranskyy lifted off his feet. Kovalev's power was impressive.

A couple of really questionable decisions by the judges in the earlier fights slightly soured it, but got to witness the great Michael Buffer in full flow.

I'm jealous!

1500 to watch Kovalev. He needs a new promoter!!
