Depends. I imagine Steve to be the one driving when he goes on holiday. Unless it's a scouting trip and Sam goes with him. Do you think Sam can be classed as a 'Derby fan'? If so McClaren will be driven out of Derby by a fan.

because like i have said in an earlier post,he is going at the end of the season.

 

And thats why both the club and himself have been cagey about it all.

 

He has obviosly mulled over going straight away but cant because of a sense of " seeing the job through".Whatever happens this season we will be looking for a new manager this summer trust me.

Even though McClaren's title suggests otherwise, he is for all intents and purposes, the MANAGER of Derby County, and he is definitely part of the 'final decision' process when it comes to recruitment. 

 

There's no way he'd go and work under the purported regime and structure at Newcastle,
