loughboroughRAM
Team for Sat: Grant Christie Keogh Whitbread Forsyth Eustace Hendrick Hughes Russell Ward Martin spot on with bringing in eustace...defence sounds like it could do with some protection at the minute...although that said tonight was the first time we have conceded this season so could just be a blip...would like to see mascarell started at some point if he is to be first choice DM until GT returns? CumbrianRam
Not sure the point of bringing Omar in if he doesn't get a run in the team? Don't get match speed sitting in the dugout. He only joined two weeks ago, took Thorne 6 weeks to get even a minute.

-JW-
Buxton has inherited Chris Porter's hip. Can't really rest him though because Whitbread has been shaky in all the games he's played for us.
Leicester Ram
Warning signs were there at Wednesday Keogh...I don't think anything needs to be said, not in the right frame of mind to be starting let alone leading a promotion chasing side. Absoloutley all over the place. COYR Did you go to the Wednesday game? Keogh was assured and the best defender on the pitch by a mile. Were you even there tonight? Keogh was also excellent against Rotherham, same goes for Bucko.
YorkshireRam
Sounded like Dawkins had a good game from radio, McClaren saying on radio really poor errors cost us at back. First goal winger ran at Christie he backed off, crossed to player who had time to turn n shoot before Keogh got a challenge in, second one their man skipped past Buxton but Keogh should have got the ball got muscled out of it and fell on top of their man, clear penalty that should have been avoided, third goal, half hearted effort by Forsyth to stop cross, player flicked on ahead of Buxton and Keogh trying to play offside lets their man head it in unchallenged. Keogh at fault for two of the goals. He can't keep carrying on making mistakes like that because it will end up costing us valuable points. CumbrianRam
Why is it the defenders that always get the blame, sometimes the midfield has to do better.
handyram
Been to all the games and tonight been found out defensively need a stimac type of player.
Gritstone Ram
Well clucking bell. We were pretty poor on the night. We made it easy for them. The amount of passes charlton cut out was unreal. Ward was our best player on the night. The rest score a 4/10.
Rev
Keogh was excellent vs Wednesday, time to give Bucko a rest to get over his bad hip maybe, Whitbread always looks solid to me.
YouRams
I'd like to see us switch the formation around, not jumping on the hate wagon 3 games in but it seems teams are wiser to us this season than last, be good to see someone play just off Martin with 2 strikers

top 6 finish
He's not panicking, he's daddling, Fulham will be our 5th game of the season and we need to make a decision in iur first choice lineup soon or we'll settle too late, Buxton sounds injured to me, and a lot of fans are looking through the bucko tinted glass to never blame him for any wrong defending when often he as much at fault as keogh. Fulham 4th league game 42 to go after that, loads of time.Anyway what's "daddling"?
MACKWORTHRAM
We are 3 games in and there really is no need to panic. We need a winger who is likely to chip in with a few goals. McClaren also needs to settle on his best midfield. Mascarell is going to end up playing the DM role. He needs to play. Let him get used to and grow into it. If Buxton is struggling for Saturday then I would play:- Grant, Christie, Keogh, Whitbread, Forsyth, Mascarell, Hughes, Hendrick, Russell, Martin, Best. Roos, Bryson, Calero, Ward, Dawkins, Eustace, Freenan as subs. If we can get a decent winger in by Saturday and they were match fit, id be tempted to put them straight in. We also need some cover defensively. If we got someone in before Saturday then he'd take Freeman's place on the bench. We now have back to back home games in the league that we really need to be looking at getting maximum points from. If we can. Then a return of 3 wins 1 draw and 1 defeat from the first 5 games is a pretty good, steady start. (If you get 10 points every 5 games its a pretty safe bet to say you'd finish in the top 2) Our squad isnt finished yet. McClaren knows what we need. Daaave
Blimey, Ward gets 2 goals and you still manage to find a way to drop him Agree with the rest of your post though.

kingsy1884
Why not throw Calero into the mix at some point he has been doing well for the U-21's
MACKWORTHRAM
I think Calero needs a spot on the bench and be given some minutes. Cant see us just throwing him in.
