McRamFan
Up until 3 years ago this injury was a career ending event, and NFL players where the bigget group. Only 12-18 months had passed with this surgery available when Shaun did his. The damage to the knee is catistrophic, and recover rate is unknown as so many structures have been grafted/sewn/glued/nailed together its not as simple as breaking a wrist and expecting to be fixed in 6-12 weeks. With this its 18-36 months. I think Shaun damaged all of the ligaments some way more than others.
RamOfKansas
The club has kept the faith this long, hope they could give him one last run-out at the very least.

Derbados
Doing the leg press his left leg looks huge compared to his right. Standard practice really for an injury as serious as that. With his leg immobile and non weight bearing for that length of time some serious muscle atrophy would kick in. This tells me he is still waaayyy off a return as even a slight muscular imbalance in one leg can impact severely in the other over time, especially for a footballer
