Alph
How does he know who and where our chief scout is? Is it not bad enough that they photograph footballers wives coming out of Morrisons?

ChaddesdenRam
Who is the chief scout? How does he know who and where our chief scout is? Is it not bad enough that they photograph footballers wives coming out of Morrisons? Actually, who is the Chief Scout? From the club website: Football Staff Head Coach - Steve McClaren First-Team Coach - Paul Simpson Goalkeeping Coach - Eric Steele Head of Football Operations - Chris Evans Head Physio - Neil Sullivan First Team Medical Staff - Matt Brown Strength & Conditioning Coach - Steve Haines Kit Manager - Gordon Guthrie Kit Manager - Jon Davidson Performance Analyst - Paul Winstanley Academy Manager & Youth Team Manager - Darren Wassall Senior Professional Development Coach - Lee Glover BBC article when he was appointed: " The 51-year-old former assistant to Gary Megson at Bolton and Sheffield Wednesday will be in charge of scouting and recruitment at Pride Park. The position was created after ex-England boss McClaren took the helm as head coach in September. " I think Chris Evans' "Head of Football Operations" job role means that he is head of scouting and that finding players whether they be in Europe or surprisingly Argentina falls under his job description. Alph
I just assumed Evans ran a scouting network. Sent his trusted spies out? Drew up a list for McClaren to have a gander at. That's what I assumed like
maydrakin
As long as it's not the next Tito Villa. He was so average - how we actually recouped our money for him, I'll never know.

swansea ram
StaffsRam, Madonna, the greatest goal you've ever seen. Have you not seen Archie Gemmill's goal for Scotland v Holland in the 1978 World Cup. Now that was a goal.
IlsonDerby
My friend who is employed as a scout by a championship club told me that Mo Camara is our chief scout. That was about a month ago maybe longer - he also mentioned Camara was at the same game as him Saturday (Birmingham is memory serves me well). Ramarena
Think it's Carbonari. Being lined up as a set piece specialist. I don't recall Carbonari ever striking a dead ball particularly well, considering he was named the bazooka. However a moving ball was a different matter. His goals against the gumps were pure. First Argentinian to play in the Prem too. DCFC always setting the trends.
Ambitious
The new Esteban Fuertes?? surely if it's Argentina then he needs to either be a regular international, european or an exceptional young talent - who's the best at digging around?
