Bristol City v Derby County

Hmmm, so play Lego at home and Fielding away? What about the defence? A donkey at left back and a league 1 CB in Buxton? Lego has made half the mistakes O'Connor has made, but none of them are to blame??? AGH. You cannot justify bringing Fielding back. Stats mean nothing! He won't be in net on Saturday because he shouldn't be in net.

Who's playing the blame game? I'm not. I'm just making the point that, as our away form has been bad recently, we should try to freshen things up a bit. Anyway, I've already alluded to the fact that O'Connor may have been at fault for some of the goals we've conceded. Besides, if Buxton and Roberts are out we're going to have to switch things around a bit. My concern would be that having OB and Freeman starting on Saturday might give a relatively inexperienced back four, but I'd be prepared to give it a go. They're certainly no worse than our other options.

If people don't clap Pearson for that one goal alone il be gutted. Wembley Wembley Wembley

I personally want to boo him until I have no breath left for condeming us to the darkest period in our history and the worst season in English football history.

I don't look at that day with any affection at all given what happened afterwards.

Steve Davies dosen't 'deserve' anything. He spent most of his career injured and then as soon as he gets fit he does a runner. It's the same with Paul Green, why do fans feel the need to welcome him back to PP? It gets on my tits that he ran his contract down and left to one of our rivals but people still applaude him when his name is read out? Wtf?

Davies we were told were genuine family reasons - why would Clough, who can be mardy about such things, lie about that?

Paul Green was a decent servant to the club - one of the only Jewell signings who would willingly play when injured or ill, taking pain killing injections to play and puking at half time. He'd run around all day, not necessarily out of love for the club, but because of pride in his proffesion. He deserves respect for that.

What's more, Green made it perfectly clear to the club that he wanted one last big contract before the end of his career. At 29, one three-year deal is the last big hurrah for him. He gave us plenty of time to make plans and let us know when he was looking elsewhere and was perfectly happy to sit on the side lines and let Hughes and others have a go when it became clear he wasn't staying. He's going to retire before too long and he's only played for Doncaster and Derby, and a big club like Leeds comes in with a manager who has a very good track record of getting teams out of this league quickly comes in for him - why on earth would he say no? He's not a Derby County supporter. I'm sure he'd love to have a crack in the top flight before he hangs up his boots, and knowing it's a long term project here in which he has already played a significant part, he may not have experienced that here.

I don't love the bloke or nowt - but he did enough to show that he is a decent proffesional who deserves my respect. What's more, we've ended up with Paul Coutts who's cheaper and better.

With all current potential injuries

Legzdins

Brayford Keogh Obrien Oconnor

Coutts Hendrick Hughes Jacobs

Sammon Robinson

If the "could" make it play

Legzdins

Brayford Keogh Obrien Roberts

Coutts Bryson Hughes Ward

Sammon Robinson

Would be harsh to drop Hendrick and Jacobs too. This isn't what I think the team should be btw but it's what I think it will be. personally I would start freeman and Tyson as they deserve too that alone. it's not like we are currently winning away from home.

If we are going to push for the play off's then we need a result here..Leeds could be a platform for a Solid December....December is not the most difficult month of the season looking at fixtures and with our January and March looking tough we could do with being top 10 at the new year
