? … If he’s any where near as good as a former manager of ours who liked the sound of his own voice then I’ll take it ?

I just want to say how lucky you are to have Paul Warne as manager. I've supported the millers for 69 years. Obviously, I've seen managers come and go during that period. As far as I'm concerned, and many other fans Warne is the best manager we've had.
Like Derby fans we went through some dark times. Administration points deducted, lost our ground, forced to play in Sheffield in an athletic stadium. No atmosphere, 4 years in the 4th division.
Paul has many qualities. Excellent staff management, a workaholic. He's articulate, honest and will live and breathe Derby County.
I thank him for all the memories, 3 Wembley wins 3 promotions and I wish him well and as a consequence wish the Rams well. I've never had a second team, but for the first time Derby County will be my second team. I look forward to seeing Paul succeed.
Hopefully Derby will be promoted and we survive in the championship and look forward to see you at the New York stadium.
    All the best.

Sad to see Liam go, however he did not help himself playing Knight at RB, no away goals and no wins, refusing to change the style of play, you can have all the possession stats in your favour but goals win games.
Talking to a Barnsley season ticket holder today and his view all the good players you have signed you should be doing better, are they performing or just going through the motions.
My view we will see better performances from the same players under Warne, watched a clip of him meeting the players, relaxed and happy, Warne started singing a song the players looked like startled rabbits caught in headlights, Warne suggested they sing, already like his style for a club should be a happy club and together, have a good feeling Warne could be the man.
Not to many parties at the Joiners !!!

A 'one off' in football whose loyalty and sincerity should be lauded from the rooftops. Yes he may not be the the right man here and now but he will be a success in the future at another club. Thanks to a genuinely nice guy whose stood by his principles and gave our club something to hold onto  when it was needed most. Good luck for the future Liam. I will miss you for sure. If you come back with another team I for one,and hopefully us all will give you a great ovation for what you have done for this great club of ours over the past three years. UTR!

I was at the meeting, too, as a representative of RamsTrust Board (elected on Wednesday night!)
Obviously my first meeting, but I agree that there appears to be a much more positive culture within the club from what has been reported on previously, we chatted together for quite a long time after the formal meeting was held. It felt like the building of new relationships.
Apart from a short embargo to allow us all to sleep last night, we were told we could report anything that was said and there would be an open atmosphere. No questions were frowned upon or dismissed and dare I say it, there was a lot more dialogue and many less "speeches" than I witnessed from the previous filmed meetings.
One of the things I am very pleased about personally is the possibility of the reinstatement of Fans Forums. Like many things mooted, it might not happen overnight but the club is moving in a positive direction. There's still a lot to do but a promising start.
    Bring on the safe standing!

Some years ago Sunderland lost their opening 6 games in championship/2nd division and went onto win the title in a canter, long way to go, feel in a better place without LR, he may become a good manager in time but that is not what Derby have time too find out, if the gates drop so does the revenue.
Well done DC this is why you are a top business man, not like the last clown.

I’m apprehensive to see the team sheet at 2 o clock. If we see Bird, Hourihane and no Oduroh I’ll be really disheartened that he’s not learning from repeat bad performances and will persist with something that clearly doesn’t work.

If I could ask Liam one question it would be why are you playing Knight at RB .
Makes no sense at all to me unless he thinks Knight isn’t good enough to play midfield.
Where does Knight play in International games !
  19. Clap
SirBrian got a reaction from David Graham Brown in Liam Rosenior
Not a question of writing Liam off, you have to ask the questions why Knight is RB possibly our best midfield player you all say that our midfield is over run, yet the player is playing RB with all the energy that he has, surely another player could play RB rather than Knight.
Sibley was only playing his cameo role at the start of the season, then had 2/3 starts and on here you classed him playing very well in those games, so what did Liam do drop him, in your languge ffs WHY.
Said earlier Liam appears to be a nice man, but is he ruthless enough and on the evidence so far not so, with 3 wins from 36 away from home, remember he had imput in those games with Rooney, so he has a lot to prove, so why does he not change the system, for the one he is using is not working.

Sibley was humiliated by Wayne in public whatever happened behind the scenes no idea, but my view Liam has bought into the negativity of Sibley, having been Waynes no 2 at the time, sadly i hope Sibley moves on for his career, and Knight could also follow, afraid Liam's man management and getting the best out of the players is falling short, he appears too nice, not ruthless enough. ( clueless will wait for a few more weeks )

Wouldn't be a sacking though,he's already a member of the coaching staff who in charge on an interim basis.
If we replace him,he still gets paid,as was wassell when he did the same job temporarily.
He's being given a chance but it's not set in stone that he is getting the job....a prudent and wise decision by clowes i.m.o,Mel would have given him a three year contract after 3 games and then paid him compensation next week when he sacked him.

    Exactly.
I’m currently watching BBC and seeing the Charles, Anne, Andrew and Edward having to stand facing away from their mothers coffin whilst all and sundry walk past. My mum past away last year and one day of formal ceremony was more than enough for me. They’ve got nearly two weeks of it. I wouldn’t wish their life, even with all its privilege, on anyone.

Nothing could tempt me to have their life. 24/7 under public and media scrutiny, not being able to have any kind of normal lifestyle. Simple every day actions ridiculed or torn apart. Not being able to trust anyone that you meet and even those that you have known for years.
Celebrities have similar issues, but for the large part, they know what they're getting into, they're not born into it.
