I can't say that I'm in favour of vaccine passports either - but I am most definitely in favour of mask-wearing in crowded indoor places.

Thanks for the heads up @VulcanRam, and yet, looking at his photograph, he looks so well-bred and CLEAN!! Just goes to show. You never can tell!! ?  The co-op from now on I think.

Mmmh. The incident at Tesco’s was unfortunate. I was at the meat counter, selecting my favourite cut of beef. The lady assistant bent over into the cabinet and to this day I am sure she meant fill it.

Couldn't agree more, @i-Ram Here is part of a sonnet for the poor souls who incur the wrath of other members by posting something poorly worded (usually after they have had a tipple on an empty stomach)!?

I all alone beweep my outcast state...'
In case you were wondering, I am posting on behalf of an embarassed friend. ?

So nice to see someone quoting a bit of Shakespeare on here. I think it is about time we had a cull of the riff raff that come on here, and the forum becomes exclusive to erudite, well-educated gentlemen. Where is Shakespeare nowadays anyone? Still with the Villa?

I’ll still travel down from Leeds. Catch up with my Derby based mates. Don’t know if it’s harder following the Rams  living in Derby where you can wallow with fellow fans or harder in Leeds (where all my friends know I’m a Derby ST holder) and having to put up with their new found success. The two cities are very much at polar opposites at the moment and it’s hard not to be envious of their future tbh. But, Derby in the blood so a Rams win always easily puts me on cloud nine ?

Really enjoyed the game, fans in the east stand all got behind the team, nice to be back, players who stood out for me Roos, Bryne, shinnie and Bird, need more players but if we all stick together , fans, and the team, we could have a few good weekends coming up. Once A Ram Always A Ram.

I listened to it on Radio Derby and Chris Coles did a good job on commentary.  Nice to hear Bobby Davison as well.

I’m only going because it’s how I keep in touch with my brother.
I’ve lost more and more respect for everything to do with football, with its shameless money grabbing all round.
And I’m sad to say that we have become an example of all the worst behaviours. What makes it worse is that we’re not even very good at that! We’ve all complained about Leicester, Leeds, QPR, and Aston Villa breaking the rules, but they did it effectively. We made a complete hash of it.
I look back now to the halcyon days of 2014 with a nostalgic tear in my eye. And yet in reality that was a very brief period sandwiched been long periods of turgid fare. And so I find myself wondering if it really was as good as I remember, or is it elevated by what happened before and since. I recall Hal’s soliloquy in Henry IV pt 1:
“…And like bright metal on a sullen ground,
My reformation, glitt’ring o’er my fault,
Shall show more goodly and attract more eyes
Than that which hath no foil to set it off.”
So in summary, I’ve not missed it, indeed absence has made the heart grow less fond, but I’ll keep going for the sake of family bonding.

Totally agree. Armchair supporter I am not...  I found it tough not travelling over to home and away games .  weekends with out live football was the biggest mental issue of the Rona pandemic,
After doing Italy and Denmark in euros was like having sex again for first time... ?
Walking to a stadium then walking up the steps into stadia Olympic Stadium in Rome was awesome

I've loved the club since I was young, and I love the club more and more by the second, by the minute, by the hour, by the day, by the week, by the month, by the year.

I think I agree. I never take this place too seriously - not sure if you’ve noticed - but it helps fill in bits of my day when I am wondering what to do. A quick 5 minute flick through a few times a day can be quite a good stress realease. It frequently makes me smile reading other peoples perspective on a range of subjects, and never ceases to amaze me how so many can get so worked up about a crappy football club (who don’t get me wrong I do love, but far too often don’t like). I will enjoy my next away day up to the point we kickoff, no doubt drifting my way home again thinking how much I enjoyed the foreplay but could so quite easily gone without actually watching the dirty act.

Interesting question, @RoyMac5.  I care more about the Rams now since the lockdown, but this is because I lost my job at the start of it. I'd worked in a garden centre for the past 10 years, was furloughed, but then it closed down permanently. I worked every Saturday until 5pm and so couldn't go to matches or even listen to them. During the lockdown I discovered the fans forum and it re-ignited my love for the club. The sense of community, common interest, knowledge and understanding of the game (which I lack) and the general cameraderie made me feel closer to the club than ever. The downside, of course, was that I also started to be aware of all the dreadful difficulties facing the club and having that awful knot in your stomach on match days. I'm just as unhappy with our present situation as  @ram59, @MACKWORTH RAM and @Srg and probably all forum members but I feel closer to and more involved in the club and more informed about its difficulties through joining the fans forum than I have for a long time.

As i live hundreds of miles away and make it to a handful of games most seasons the lockdown didn't really affect me that much in terms not making the regular pilgramage to Pride Park.
The empty stadium games were really lacking in vitality.
However, as posting rubbish on this forum is pretty much my main hobby/coping mechanism and the club has been facing testing times on and off the pitch I find I care about DCFC as much as I ever have. It's been hard on all of us, it's been hard how so much greif has connected with DCFC when it's usually something most of us are involved in for a little escapism, entertainment, occasional excitment and mostly fun.
I get that a lot of people are fed up with Derby. I get that it's not really be reflecting back the hopes, passion, emotion and everything else we invest.
    But things will get better.

Yeah I can agree with that somewhat. It's no surprise given the football has been poor. When we get a proper team together and start playing well again, everyone will get that buzz.

Taking the warmth! I can scarcely believe what I am reading! How far we have come from reading about Jane Austen's elegant  description of balls to peeing into people's back pockets!!

Don't particularly want him to stay, feel he is a circus act and not a very capable manager so far. However, tlin the interests of fairness, he must at least be given a chance to address on-field matters in what must be recognised as nigh-on impossible circumstances. He deserves at least that understanding from the support, as those problems are not of his making.
I remain skeptical, however, that his fairly sordid personal life will change, and while normally I wouldn't care, its detrimental to the club and the office of manager in my vview. Just an opinion though.

I care most about the boys on the pitch.
I am hoping we develop a Millwall mentality and prove everyone wrong, led by our younger players and supported by older stars who want a last hurrah.

I agree, Rammie, and I've seen the photographs in the press. Just wanted to ask if these are recent photographs of 'historic'? If they are recent then I am sad that Wayne has let his family down again. When this happens to politicians we are reminded to keep their private and political lives separate. I don't agree with this. I'm suspicious of a leader who  doesn't show moral backbone in private.
