I wrote a pilot script for a BBC Comedy competition about 15 years ago. The winning entry was to be made into a pilot episode for BBC3.
I got a nice letter back saying I hadn't won but I'd got into the last 10%. Not bad for a first (and only) attempt at writing.
I never did find out what won - and if it was any good.

Wasn't it reported that Whittaker was on the end of racist abuse online from Derby fan(s) after the goal celebration? I don't think any level of goal celebration is deserving of that. Or any abuse in fact.
I have no issue with a former player celebrating a goal against us, it would annoy me if we had a player who scored against a former club and didn't celebrate.

With 75% of adults having had 1 jab and over 50% having had 2, we really are at the stage of managing their own risk.
Pretty much all of the vulnerable people have been vaccinated, if they dont feel safe now I am not sure then they ever will.

Im an advocate of opening up right away.
But...its silly comparing positive case increases with hospitalization/death rate increases on the same day, as there is a lag in the data.
If hospitalizations/deaths are still at the same rates in 2 weeks there can be no excuse for delaying removing all restrictions.

We really aren't. 
The large large majority do their best to apply common sense, even when the guidance is hard to follow.
Don't be fooled by the knob heads on Good Morning Britain, and the likes, trying to convince you that the guidance is just too hard to understand.

was due to fly to Faro on 16th. But, due to a non-existent and not-recognised variant of COVID, Portugal was removed from the Greenlist. None of the three of us due to go are allowed to work from home when we return, so 2 weeks quarantine is out of the question.
Annoyingly, the hotel cancellation come with a €175 charge! Trying to get them to waive that.
£92 of parking refunds in the form of vouchers to use within 3 years, which I will.
The worst bit was I researched World Cup 2022 dates to transfer the flights to next June, before actually realising the World Cup next year is in DECEMBER. So we paid an extra £80 each to change flights to July 2022, as it will be dead in June without a football tournament on!

London is great. I have visited lots of capitals but love London,  for a capital city its actually reasonably priced to eat and drink with lots to see, open spaces aswell.

Great news we are getting an extra bank holiday for the queens 70th jubilee. 
4 day weekend from Thursday 2nd June. 
We are losing spring bank holiday because of it mind.

I would never have dreamed of it I don't think had I not worked over there. 
Its obviously not as touristy as Dublin but I find it far more laid back and cheaper. Lots of Irish bars with live music, good restaurants, plus take in some of the countryside.
lots of interesting things to see relating to the troubles too.
 

Very nervous and apprehensive.
Clara’s birthday is next week which is obviously a joyous day but is scary too. Topped off with her little brother is due in 3 weeks which again should be joyous but I’m somewhat dreading. 
 
apart from that pretty good. Pleased to be able to see distant family again and pleased I can play football and pool with my mates. Definitely happier now we can socialise a bit more (for now)

VAR is awful, and pundits are enjoying criticising it, but it is the likes of sky with their dozens of camera angles that are responsible for it.
They enjoyed picking refs up on wrong decisions because they had the benefit of replays from every angle you can imagine, perhaps if they hadnt been so keen to destroy a ref because he made a wrong decision because they could replay it 100 times we wouldnt be in this position today.
