I'm really disappointed with this due to a number of factors, but I always felt for him to get to where he needs to be then it would have to be away from Derby. I suspect he will have a good move lined up somewhere. 
Genuinely one of the very best players I have seen (not just for us) at a Premier League academy. How it's got to this point genuinely baffles me. 

Don’t agree. Warne said he was the best finisher at the club then stuck him at left-back. Scoring goals is the most expensive part of football. He will be in demand . Even as an impact sub . Would not be suprised to see him at Bristol City . Gutted to see him go as I rate him as much better than Bird . The only thing we don’t know is about his attitude. Another manager will get the best out of him . Mark my words. 

While it sucks, I get it. The big contract combined with not being a critical player for us moving forward was always going to make negotiations tricky. Wish him all the best, wore his heart on his sleeve and always gave 100%. The lethargy when required to give Leeds a guard of honour proved he really was 'one of us' as well 😂 Hope he lands on his feet wherever he ends up!

Still vividly remember the hat-trick he scored in only his second league start. Such a shame he never quite delivered on the promise. Wish him all the best - he's given his all for this club. 

A big shame but probably best for him. I don’t think anyone knows where he fits in to our team as it stands.
Feel gutted about this one though considering all of the highs and lows we’ve had with him at the club. 

I've always rated and liked Sibley,it's a shame he's moving on but these things happen.

Bit sad about this one, as I was with Bird. The romantic/football manager nerd in me loves the idea of a Derby side filled with homegrown talent. Not to say we won’t ever see that but a number of those most recently able to play first team football for the club are gone, for me it’s the legacy of admin and what could have been. 
 
Wish him all the best in his career and look forward to how the team progresses with new faces. Wonder if we’ll get an exit interview from him? 

My takeaway is that he’s excited about the budget for the season, obviously without giving too much away but there was a very wary, self-confidence to his answer and that funds coming into the club via TV and other sources could really give us an opportunity. 
I love to hear that he’s very pro-overseas scouting and that the data we’re looking at on players is substantial. It sounds very, very much like what I really wanted from the new-age Derby County. The proof will obviously be in the pudding but the confidence and excitement within his demeanour was very palpable to me. 

None of us should be in any doubt now - No Clowes= No DCFC . Buying the ground for £25 mill was a sound business purchase , with a rent of £1 mill a year coming in . But the price for DCFC of £25 mill looked cheap to us fans . But remember not another soul was prepared to pay that price .

100%, honour a contract that at one time as a player you happily signed.

Is that really the “honourable” thing to do? Didn’t Bielik get hassle on this forum from some for allegedly saying or implying he wanted to leave Derby?
The honourable thing to do is to respect your contract whilst perhaps hoping the transfer you’d like materialises.

I maybe old school, but no way would i want a mega rich foreign owner, but im probably in the minority. If that happened to all the so called big clubs in the championship and league 1 what happens to all the small clubs, prob go out of buisness like we nearly did.

can i ask are you on medication. your obviously not Ai because your comments are not sensible enough. fell free to comment but i feel you should be prepared for incoming flak at regular intervals. us older guys from brians and daves eras have learnt to respect and love the club through thick and thin good and bad its just life. but at least we can say i saw them pick up the league trophy twice.

Almost like he was talking absolute sense: number one objective is to retain our championship place, we have a budget which he thinks is competitive and our target is to finish top (as it should be for every club in every division in which they play).
Not sure what the condescending “ah bless” is all about.

We have a right to nothing. We nearly didn't exist, we are newly promoted team who need to replace half a squad. There is no divine right to anything.

This next season is all about surviving, we aren’t going to be spending millions and some signings may be underwhelming but if they help us stay up and keep building then that’ll do just nicely, you can see with the off field stuff we’ve been doing, hiring new people etc we are taking a step forward and if we can get it right of the pitch then we can start catching up on the pitch and build sensibly we can start to aim where we want to be! So let’s back the signings before we write them off!

100% pal and I agree with it. It was more a dig at the extortionate prices that companies charge. The way I see it is that Derby are a relatively small club when compared to the big PL teams so it’s a battle to get kids in local team colours. If a Derby shirt was, say, £30 for a kid then on match day it’s more likely to nip in the shop and buy one. They’re pricing too many out at the higher costs. I want to see local kids in local shirts not Citeh, Manure, Chelski and Bin dipper shirts. Like always the power is in the wrong hands. Nike, Umbro, Adidas etc shouldn’t be dictating the RRP price of the shirts to clubs.
