Sure we’re better with McGoldrick - he’s probably the best player in the league. But PW seems to be using him selectively to try to get an entire season out of him. Wouldn't be surprised to see him on the bench tomorrow - and for him to stay there if we’re leading by a couple

Impressed by the way Warne handles injuries. This is a long season and if we lose a couple of key players through long term injury, we are a different team. The signs are that Warne is cautious - he rests the aged, and he doesn’t hurriedly bring players back from injury. Having said that, Curtis’ body will be reeling in shock from Saturday’s onslaught so if Cashin is not back with avengeance perhaps Rooney might feature.

Well from most angles you have a fair chance of judging whether the ball is more than half way over the line. Judging whether it’s ‘overhanging’ the line is like looking at a distant plane at 32,000 feet and trying to work out if it’s over your mum’s house.  Silly rule ask any German

Great result. Shame the home clean sheet record couldn't be kept as for all their huffing they never looked like scoring all game. Professional performance, can see how Warne is imprinting his DNA into the team, not arsed if we don't go up this season as I think we'll be champions next if not.
