And the final would be against PL strugglers Forest who get relegated and lose the FA cup final in one season. It also turns out that Malcom Ebiowe was wearing Craig Bryson's hat trick boots when he scored the winner

It's a fairly encouraging sign that the extension is only to Monday, no?

You'd think right?
Apparently the business plan is basically agreed between cK and the EFL and (if he does get it over the line) as long as it's not "taking the urine" he'll be ok with small exceedances that can be argued as necessary, but, it's the EFL.

Fair point. And in cases where a club emerges from admin under the same ownership as before, you’d expect the EFL to drive a very hard line. Hopefully they will give CK a bit of slack, since he was not instrumental in the turpitude

I would have said: ‘running a club like MM ran DCFC is an expensive business’.

I think I estimated something like £110m combined losses since our last set of accounts were released (18/19, 19/20, 20/21, 21/22).
As it turns out, the amount owed to creditors rose by about £40m over the same period, so probably looking at more like £120m of losses instead.

Countys, I'd have thought.
Derby County is a given name, a term, I'd assume that even though the given names ends in a word that has its own plural, that doesn't take precedence. We are called Derby County (...Football Club) but we are not actually a county.
However the above could be completely wrong. At least I haven't added in any extraneous apostrophes.
Easier just to say 'it could buy Derby County four times over" to avoid all doubt.

No idea. From those I have dealt with at work over the years there are no typical CEO working hours. And one from a golf equipment brand didnt like golf and worked all the time

Before completely blaming the efl, i think its worth while looking at a partial cause of the rot.

One thing that might have prevented derbys current plight is an independent regulator, here discussed ...
