Not wanting to diminish any of the contributions,  all of which surely helped,  but really admired Amanda Solloway’s positive energy and drive throughout this. I do wonder though whether she has just a tiny crush on the preferred buyer ? 

I think one driver may be that CK’s wealth is largely tied up in slync.io shares. So to fund the planes and cars and football clubs, he presumably borrows against those shares ?(The company is still privately held so the shares are illiquid, so the loans are expensive.) That will all change when the company goes public but until that happens, his capital is expensive. So better for the club to rent the stadium for now. And better to pay more to creditors over a longer period :  first, the club’s cashflows can assist in payment. Second, if the IPO has happened by the time they need to be paid, he has a much lower cost of capital 

She's a season ticket holder, as is Pauline Latham.
I know Amanda quite well, and she works very hard on a number of issues, the football club being only one of them. She's a huge champion for mental health, for example. 
Like most MPs who want to keep their jobs, she follows the party whip on voting.
I don't share her politics, but it saddens me to see her name being besmirched because of them. 

It's true that she seems to exhibit passion for certain things when she wants to, but her record of voting is abysmal and doesn't reflect what she says. I don't actually think she has any interest at all in football, but she realises that Derby is a passionate football town and that way lies votes...

But there are a number of sources that support the line that he has given a PG and put cash collateral w MSD  Neither would have been affected by administration  
Seems likely he always wanted the deposit back, and that he agreed to Q’s appointment on the basis 202 would not file. Possibly the written agreement Q finally put in place with him re the stadium  (referred to in a Dec statement by Q ) required him to transfer 202 against return of the deposit. 
 
If that was indeed the deal he made with Q, then the goalposts have been moved because no one will pay enough to get him his deposit back  - which might explain the difficulty in nailing down a deal now.

Well derby county has survived were likes of steve gibson tried and failed to send us out of business and efl might have sent us down but they have not divided us far far far from it but brought us closer to derby county they might have won the battle but were about win the freaking war with them. I even think that tried to make rooney walk away from us guess again rooney loves derby county and guess what derby county fans love rooney he has stood by us when nobody else would and for that he has respect to city of derby and is about to get freedom of derby. I think personal he going to bring back glory days that derby had under brain clough is way I think rooney could be new brain clough in the making.

Do we need to have a sign in or outside the ground listing everything thst has happened since we "got off easy" off the top of my head

This isn't a feel sorry for us, because it's our own fault. But to say we got off without punishment?

Its the same as a housing chain contracts are set up via the 3 solicitors and the money moves through the solicitors, that way Morris could not run off with the money, if that's what you think the worry is about.  I imagine the purchase of the club and stadium will go through simultaneously too as well.
Providing there is an agreed sale price on the stadium that the vendor and purchaser have agreed to, with structural surveys being sound, no curve balls, it should all go through.
Im not convinced that Mel has agreed a sale price though, which is why CKs grand gestures last night may jbe booking the Lord Mayors Show a littlrle prematurely!

To be honest, I'd sooner see him stop interacting with all fans on twitter full stop. Twitter isn't exactly the brains trust at the best of times. By all means tweet about Derby, updates etc, but getting in to conversations and/or bickering with fans online isn't going to do him any favours long term.

But it’s there in black and white and it’ll surely be used to ward off our players’ agents who are looking for new contracts, and to encourage incoming talent.

I’d guess Rooney’s contract terms will have been sorted between Stretford and CK in the context of the business plan discussions. Hefty promotion bonus perhaps. Hopefully Rooney will now be having a busy few days discussing terms with players
