You don't know that. If the EFL hadn't decided to block the cross class cram it wouldn't have mattered. Or if Mel had dealt with it sooner. 

Think you may both be right - my first reaction was he was a bit of a fraud but think that was more emotional than thought out, frustration with the situation.
 
Maybe this was his inexperience and naivety showing through his ambitious nature of being succesful quite young. I’m suprised though it took to that far in the process for his realisation or someone to say something to him to make him change his mind.

Not a chance. Otherwise he's no doubt be under investigation in the US by now.
He never had the money. Never sent any money. Never paid any wages. AML is just a plausible excuse introduced by Nixon.
He obviously likes to hang out with famous and wealthy people, mainly sportsmen. At least he's probably got Rooney's mobile number out of it - although I doubt they'll be hanging out together.

I think a lot of CKs £21.4m or whatever was finally agreed, was going to HMRC as an upfront,  with other payments to follow as part of the 3 year plan.
I dont believe for a minute they are taking a 35% settlement that's all.

You’ve been posting this steadfastly for months and months. But none of the ITKs around the place - the club, Q, the EFL, the journos, the ITKs on Twitter - have ever mentioned it despite them referring to various other roadblocks. 
 
Q specifically told us - after meetings with HMRC - that they had agreement. And surely you’re not saying HMRC was going to rain on CK’s winning post parade ? 
 
Is this just a hunch or is there some basis for the concern? 

That is another reason why non of what he has done make sense,the damage he has done to his own company
