As I said several days ago, imminent means weeks or months to accountants, they use this to try and bat the disappointment down the road.
As has been said, their job is to get the best financial outcome, that may not be selling the club as a going concern.  It may consist of a fire sale of out best players, then announce liquidation once the TW window closes....

I'm really sick of the likes of Thomas Tuchel(Chelsea), Jurgen Klopp(Liverpool), and Pep Guardiola whining about how they don't have enough players, not enough subs, they should have had a penalty, play far to many games over a certain period at Christmas, Tuchel is the worst without a doubt. One thing about Cloughie you would never hear him moan about these matters. 

Well said Gaspode couldn't agree more these parasites are just ruining our game. 

Catch 22 for them . Want the salaries but not the fixtures. These top end players and managers want 100k a week in wages.  The only way to get that is more games .  Play less games but get 50 % less pay.  They won't be so tired then I imagine .  

Maybe do away with the champions league and europa league go back to European cup and UEFA cup plus cup winners cup winners of uefa and cup winners gain entry to European cup. Only league winners enter European cup others play uefa cup all straight knock out. Players then play fewer games and everyone will want to win the FA cup again. Football was sooo much better back in the day 

The thing to remember is, they're fighting for their own selfish interest. That's just how it is. However, don't ever confuse that with them arguing for what's right or best for the sport.

With the game only 6 weeks away I was wondering what peoples opinions are regarding buying tickets.
Should we try and sell out and back the team and also voice our disapproval of Gibson or should we boycott the game as a protest. 
I enjoy going to Boro as I usually visit Whitby/Scarborough at the same time but at the moment I don’t feel like giving Gibson any money.

I have never seen a group of people more pampered than modern elite footballers. It's honestly putting me off the sport. Dean Smith encouraging Billy Gilmore to play with a fever maybe isn't the best idea, but it's being treated like he almost killed him. It's absolutely pathetic.

And you can guarantee that if they get the mid-season break that they all so desperately want, they will immediately arrange foreign tours to generate more revenue…..
If the clubs at the top are struggling to play so many games they are absolutely welcome to resign from the Champions League….

I assume that any further delay this week will be down to the Ghislaine Maxwell verdict. The EFL is surely thumbing through its regulations to work out how many more points they can deduct. Mark Lawrenson and Oxford United are also apparently in talks with Steve Gibson about joining a class action suit against us.

All a Buyer has to do is point to the Bookies odds. The likelihood of us staying up is factored into the price. If they wait until we're formally relegated, the price will be even lower because the most valuable assets will have been sold.

Latest update for @Anag Ram, the Mitchell brothers are still waiting to be released.

I'm firmly in the glass half empty and just shattered camp, but even I know that 4 of the last 4 and a half days have been bank Holidays.
Without a shadow of a doubt, an announcement will be made today, tomorrow or Friday.
If we receive yet another delay message then things are about to go south.

Apparently , the admin lads nipped out on Xmas eve dinner for a “cheeky pint”. With every intention of making the imminent announcement when they got back. However they ended up going Out Out and not been seen since.
