Just seen him wandering through departures at Birmingham airport, dressed like Ice Cube in Boyz In the Hood!

    So sad.
What’s love got to do with it was an anthem of my childhood.

I loved her triumphant 90s return with golden Eye though. I love the start of that song, really takes me back to a time and place.

Very sad news David another pop icon from my teenage years has sadly passed. I loved her music. RIP Legend.

I wouldn't quite go as far as that first line of yours, but I was about to say I wasn't her biggest fan, particularly the later 80's stuff.  But like you, I fully appreciate her true superstardom.  This feels like a biggy, even as a non-fan.
Proper star.  Proper legend. And a proper chunk of music history.
    RIP, Superstar.

I'm sure you know this already, but it was Bowie who bought her back into public attention after her divorce, in which she was left with basically a stage name and nothing else, and she had to fight Ike for that!
Private Dancer was gifted her by Mark Knofler, and Jeff Beck played lead guitar on the track, all down to Bowie bringing her back into the public consciousness.

    What a life she lived.
Survived the most awful years of abuse, to re-emerge as the most powerful, fierce woman on the planet for a time.
What a woman, what a voice, what an Icon.

Mozza the only reason I didn't put Freddie on favourite male artists was because he was part of a group Queen, my choices were because they are basically male solo artists supported by musicians. Bowie is my favourite artist but without doubt Freddie was the best frontman. Loved Karen Carpenter and Barbra Streisand. You have a great choice in music.

Time for the worst race on the calendar. Joke that we still race it every year. I was looking forward to seeing the B spec merc at Imola with the prospect of some racing, hopefully we get to see it look good in qualifying at the least. Spain is the next proper race to look forward to.

Best  conspiracy theory I’ve read is the one that he wasn’t killed at all.

Search it, it’s fascinating and bloody frightening.

I'm not sure we will ever know the full truth.
It's pretty clear Oswald was set up and there was a cover up. It's hard to see how that could happen without LBJ

Very interesting if that were to actually happen. A Charles v Georgey boy pairing could be very good but they would both want to be no1 and probably fall out a bit over it.
Lewis going to Ferrari I think would be a nice swan song but I very much doubt it'd bring him a championship. If it could, leclerc would be the one Ferrari want to get it.
Ultimately I think Lewis more likely retire if Merc can't either deliver a championship car and/or match his wage demands.
TBF, the move makes more sense for mercedes to tempt leclerc than Ferrari picking up Lewis. Although if I were Ferrari and leclerc left I'd perhaps look at Norris who I'm sure isn't loving that McLaren.
