This ⬆️⬆️⬆️. What is done is done. MM has to live with what he’s done to the club he ‘supports’. Let’s resolve the stadium and move on that’s it. There’s hatred and vitriol towards MM, answering the other questions won’t change that. We as a fan base have been a class above throughout all this and long may that continue.

Have to say, with our excellent home form we could have and should have - bar that little spell where we had Cardiff and Luton away and had to try and achieve points, we could have been a bit more solid. Another 3 draws and a win away and we're still in it.  Accepting that since January, the lose of Jagielkas organisation, Shinnies aggression and Richards injury had an impact, that was achievable. Look how we s*** housed a point at the Hawthorns being destructive rather than pretty.

The away results look bad. The reality is where we in most of those games and let’s not forget we had to set up to win those. Normally you go for a draw and nick the odd win but circumstances didn’t allow us to do that.
Luck and some horrendous refereeing decision helpeed towards the lack of points but going for it was the only approach and we fell on our sword. No problem as the OP says, bloody proud.

This Easter period is critical. Rooney said by 5pm Monday we will know exactly where we're at. We'll either be down mathematically or the great escape will really be on. We've just got to hope results go our way the next couple of games and we pull off a shock. It is possible.

We are in a very precarious position now. Reading win tomorrow and we lose then that’s 12 behind with 12 to play for. Only goal difference making it mathematically possible to stay up. We win an they lose and it’s game on. It’s the most pivotal game day of the campaign so far I think.

I don’t disagree about the efforts on the pitch. I just feel it’s become irrelevant. So I think to myself “ how can the outcome of a game of football be irrelevant” and it’s when the efforts are overshadowed by outside factors.
Football is broken it’s fundamentally unfair and as such has lost the very essence of what drew me in the first place.
I’ve done the blindly follow but this season my eyes have been opened and I’m dismayed by what I see.

No risk or cost to the council. They buy the ground with the banks money and the new owner effectively pays the mortgage.
Buy to let basically. As long as there’s a DCFC there’ll be someone to rent. An owner may chose to buy later on. The bank will see this as a very acceptable plan, no risk.

Quantuma's job is to get the best deal for the creditors (and probably Quantuma themselves) not DCFC. The EFL have stated that they want to see the best deal for The Club, the fans and the community.
These positions conflict so we may yet not have a ratified deal once the EFL look at it.

The Council buying the stadium does seem a sensible option right now. It needn't cost the taxpayer a penny as it's basically a buy to rent option.
The council borrows off the bank at say 3% and the club pays rent to cover the mortgage. I think Mel would sell to the Council to cover loan from MSD but he'd be less likely to let it go so cheap to CK.

It’s only been Reading’s 6 point deduction that’s kept this interesting.
We’ve managed to pick up 22 points on The Posh 20 on Barnsley but only 6 on Reading. We’ve managed to pick up 8 points on Hull, 5 on Bristol,4 on Brum and 3 on Cardiff.
The away return is what’s done us. It’s not over yet and if you take away our points deduction then we would’ve looked like being comfortably safe. Quite a feat for a team of journeymen and kids.

There is only one thing holding up the sale. Folk are getting all twisted up trying to understand conflicting stories from different sources.
It's survival or relegation. That's what the buyers are waiting for. They won't tell us because it doesn't look good for a saviour waiting to be lauded by Derby County supporters to really have been holding on to get us on the cheap resulting in the cause of some serious mental anguish amongst the faithful.

Agreed, I don't think the sale will go through until our fate is known, unless the bidders have been asked to submit 2 bids each, one based on championship football and one lg1. This could complicate matters whereby the PB for the championship could be different to the PB for lg1.
Regarding the sale of PP, I can see MM's side of the argument. If he accepts a low price, he is not giving the stadium to us, he's giving to some very rich people at a bargain price. However, he could accept a low price off the council and in effect give it to the people of Derbyshire at a low price. At the figures being discussed, the ground would give a decent annual return on the investment, with the possibility of selling the ground to the clubs owners in better times, for a considerable profit.

With respect, @Big Travhas never given me the impression he knows the difference between his socks and his underpants. I would relax if I were you.
Indeed everyone, FFS, chill out. So much mis-information on this thread in the last few days. Just wait for Q to make their next report. There isnt anything you can do, and no amount of posting misinformation and supposition is going to help (particular those who seem on the edge regarding the current situation).
