At least Dubois looks like he's trying to impose himself and get dirty.
Joshua did 24 rounds of trying to outclass Usyk. Stupid
Best performance of Dubois career

Henrycav81 got a reaction from Curtains in The Paul Warne Poll
You didn’t ask how many seasons had Sheffield Wednesday been in league 1 since 2004 though, you asked how long did it take them to get back up and the answer is 2 seasons 😀
For what it’s worth I voted to give Warne until at least the end of the season

You’ve forgotten to mention the main man who was at the club when cloughie arrived “ King Kev”

The ridiculous laws mean the ball doesn't have to be on the spot just part of the ball as to be overhanging the penalty spot

They probably had more energy because they didn’t spend most of the match chasing the ball. Unfortunately I think the more high profile the women’s game gets the more we’ll see the dark arts coming into the game. Yes Spain were time wasting at the end we’d have probably done the same had we been winning. Lucy Bronze should have been booked for delaying the penalty kick but I’ve seen some comments saying she was clever doing it we can’t have it both ways.
i think the better team won, we worked our socks off but their ball retention and movement was far better than ours

Henrycav81 got a reaction from 1967Ram in Is this the worst Derby County side in the club's 139 year history?
There were far worse players than kenny Burns around that period John McCall, George Foster, etc and not forgetting the worse player I ever saw play for Derby Mick Coop. I was just having a cheap shot at Burns because he always slags us off when he loves us really I believe he still lives in Derby

I’m in the SS. I sing and join in with the chants. If I’ve had a few beers, I might even start one.
I would NOT want the drum next to me for 90+ minutes every home game. I’m not surprised you had complaints.
Move it back to the front where there is a bit of a gap between the drum and the people.

Henrycav81 reacted to LazloW in Is Clowes Blameless?
Blameless for what? A bad start to the season - hardly. Not attracting players - we don’t know who we’ve tried to attract and who, if anybody has ‘rejected’ us. Not spending silly money? Short memories but even if Clowes was Mel rich it wouldn’t make sense to spend as we did before. Clearly Clowes isn’t that wealthy, we’re still under a business plan and everybody seemed to be happy being run more sustainably until we lose a couple of games.
Even if he was ‘to blame’ (again, not sure what for) I still think he should be given a very significant bit of slack before wading in. He’s got a lot of credit in the bank.

Nope. If you don't like someone banging a drum in your ear you shouldn't be forced to move out of a seat you may have had for years just because someone wants to tunelessly smash a drum all game. Find him somewhere he can sit that doesn't present a detriment to other fans enjoyment of the game and you can bang the drum as much as you like. Either that or buy all the seats around the drummer - problem solved.
As for your third paragraph don't be silly. Anyone sat next to that who doesn't already have significantly damaged hearing is going to be bothered by it. If you can clearly hear the drum from the other side of the stadium - which I assure you we can - then there is no chance its not damaging peoples hearing if they are sat right next to it. If you and your mates don't mind a bit of deafness by all means sit next to the drummer boy, but don't be surprised if other people don't share your lackadaisical views.

Unbelievable decision no doubt someone will be apologising to wolves tomorrow, not good enough top sides get preferential treatment VAR was supposedly brought in to get correct decisions

How on earth was that not a penalty? If any other player but the keeper had piled into a challenge and missed everything but the opposition player then they'd have given a foul and at least a booking. VAR is pointless.

Wilder managed to tag Fury regularly and Fury is a far better boxer than AJ
i feel that if AJ wants to beat Wilder he’s got to be more aggressive than he was against Helenius if he fights to passively he’ll eventually get tagged by Wilder, that does not mean he’s got to be reckless. As for gassing out against klitchko he was knocked down in the 6th he shouldn’t be gassing out that early in a fight.
For what it’s worth I think Fury and Usyk are on a different level to all the other heavyweights

Ah, apologies mate. Out of context, I mistook your point. Twice! 🫢
Yeah, I think it was very much a safety first type approach and not a great watch. For clarity, I think AJ is a top fighter, but in a thin and stagnant division. Usyk exposed him from a technical standpoint (as would Fury if he had the stones to fight him) and a party-animal confirmed doubts about his chin.
Sadly, it's likely he'll never scale the heights he might have, but he's not ducked fights like some and he's pretty exciting when he does let his hands go. My sense of it is that AJ needed to focus more on his fight skills and less on dead and bench lift targets. Strong is good, strong and elusive is better!
