Having met him with family when he was a young boy, all I can say is that James is a lovely lad. He's a huge Derby supporter along with his family. He's put a lot of effort and sacrifice into making forging his career in football so far, and to get what would be a dream job is great to see. Sure he's joined from Rotherham but don't let that discredit his talents in the role. He's now back home with his club.

Tom Ince available on loan, would 100% bring him back if we let Ward leave. Ince would be quality at this level imo

What has Vickers conceded so far that Wildsmith would have saved?
I do want Wildsmith back in - mainly because I think he instils more confidence in Nelson/Cashin but Vickers hasn’t cost us any goals in my opinion.

I meant Wilson has jumped ahead of Ward at RB. Agree Nyambe will be 1st choice when available.  I think is Ward is now 3rd choice for both RB and RW positions.

Question is - will Wilson stay on the RW with NML or will Wilson drop to the bench.
NML is way more effective out wide and assuming CBT is always on the left, we have our wingers.
We are desperate for a 10 or a creative attacking midfielder. That for me is the most important position we sign.

He’s the most ‘nothing’ player we’ve had in years.
Just plays 70/80/90 minutes, moans to a ref a bit and that’s his highlight reel.
Need to let him go.
