Fear not. The EFL fit and proper person test will ensure the club is safe...

Nice try, but before today Dowell had only played 539 minutes (equivalent of under 6 games) in the Championship for Norwich.
You'll have to do a lot better than that to prove he's a good player we somehow misused.

That's like telling me Cyrus Christie is a top level Championship RB because he put in a couple of decent performances and got promoted playing a bit part for Fulham.

We are though. Only bottom of the table Wycombe and Blues have managed to score fewer goals than us all season. It's dismal.

By not trying to do it.
By obsessing so much about the opposition's game that we forget about our own?
By having a manager who wants so desperately to be a tactical genius at the expense of trying to win?
    By being awful?

But I thought Cardiff were so invincible that it simply wasn’t worth playing our first team so we could rest them for defeat at the weekend. Are we saying this wasn’t the case? What a bunch of cockwombles we have running our club.

if you extrapolate their form from the last 5 games then they'll be sitting on 40 from 40 with 6 to play. One of the downsides of CBT is that it isn't responsive to structural issues that exist and cannot be changed, merely it alters your attitude to them. I think the same is true here, the structural issue is the lack of assurance of our place in the league and our generally poor performances in the last dozen games. Those fundamental areas of concern are not going away and cannot be wished away, it is the very fact our squad and performances have been so weak that means we're generally doubting we can get those points in those games (which is why most people are concerned).

Think your complacency is staggering. We are really struggling, compounded by lots of injuries, relying heavily on youngsters and not far ahead of the drop. We are a point ahead of Coventry and 2 ahead of Brum, both of whom have a game in hand. We have Norwich next so the gap if anything will get tighter. Let’s hope at the very least Rotherham don’t go on a run, if they do we could be in real trouble ?

Yeah just seen that and their fixtures look winnable going forward too... 5 points behind us with a game in hand ? The more I think about it the more fearful for us I become

It's really good Rotherham lost today but they still have 4 games in hand on us. They've still picked up 6 points from the last 5, if they replicate that they'll be 3 points shy of us with 6 games to play. The thinking that we're '8 point clear' is flawed, I don't think they're going to lose every single game they have in hand even after todays result. Realistically we're anywhere between 6 or 2 points clear of the drop with 6 to play- we're going to need to pick up points at Preston (who just beat swansea) and Blackburn I think if we want to survive. If it goes down to the last couple of games I really don't like our chances as I don't have any confidence this squad can perform under pressure.

Are you deliberately being dim or does it just come naturally to you? You don’t know what we need, none of us do so the more of those down their with us that lose the better. It’s not rocket science....crikey....

I'd be pretty appalled if complacency crept in with us on a mere 43 points. The bigger danger for me is over-caution.
Not suggesting for a second Reading & Norwich are free hits but think we need to be targeting points against both. Reading are wobbling at the minute & Norwich are coasting to a title (as a insipid draw at Preston on Friday showed).
People talk about how poor our squad is and losing Gregory & Waghorn won't help but we have Lawrence, Sibley, Jozwiak & Roberts as options in behind one of the best CFs in the division (statistically CKR has second highest goal to shot ratio). All 4 of those attacking players would interest better placed clubs than us. There are goals in this team & we need to find the balance between being solid but also having real menace going forward. In short, hanging on with no attacking threat will see us beaten easily.
Our record against the top 6 has been very good. A repeat over the next 2 games (say 4 points from the next 2 games) would take the drama out of later games & inject a bit of confidence to finish strongly.

But my point is it's only really CKR doing about what you might expect (likely better than expected). Waghorn, Jozwiak, Lawrence (albeit in an injury hit season), Knight or Sibley have been producing at anything close to a rate you would expect. We have a general problem not only scoring goals but creating chances and you'd expect more from the players in the squad in terms of ability. I'm not saying any are world beaters but as a whole they are better (based on previous evidence) than they are currently showing which makes me question where does the real problem lie.
I'm not specifically making the case for bad man management (although I don't think it's terribly hard to find evidence of at least questionable man management), I'm more making the general point that if a player isn't performing then it tends to be on them but if most of your squad just isn't functioning from an attacking perspective (especially if the players in the squad have demonstrated their capability elsewhere or are doing it internationally) the bigger problem likely lies elsewhere.
With your point about his decision making surely the next logical question is why ? Why is he making the "right" decision for Poland and why was he making the "right" decision often enough for Lech Poznan ? My personal view a big element is that he doesn't actually get many opportunities, at least not clear cut ones and so when they do come there is perhaps the pressure of "I need to make the most of this half-chance now, we might not create anything else all game". How we currently set up and go about our game is pretty damn negative; we barely make openings never mind chances and so it's not entirely surprising if forwards are snatching at things. Also because of how we set up it's usually fairly trivial to mark the actual threats and technical players out of the game.

Lawrence and Knight both allowed into stadia to watch a game tonight. No injuries. Given the amount of energy Knight has, presumably quite difficult for him to sit down for that long.

I’ve taken some time to look at ours and our fellow relegation candidates remaining fixtures, current form and any factors that may positively affect the latter (new manager bounce etc)
I hate to say it, and I sincerely hope I’m wrong and get torn to shreds for it and made to eat my words at the end of the season, but, we’re going down in the final relegation place and I’m absolutely convinced of it.
I have no faith left in this squad, I hate to use this next word to describe them because it’s so damning and personal but honestly, we are a team full of fragile, placid, cowards.
we can’t defend and we don’t score goals, it’s a recipe for disaster
Worst part about it all is, I can’t see us pulling up any trees in league one either, mid table if we’re lucky.
