He will come to be ranked alongside Clough, Cox and Smith as one of the greatest DCFC managers of modern times. Plenty to do yet of course but I believe it will happen

Such a good job we didn't get that negative hoofball manager from Rotherham.

    But seriously
    Thank you Liam Rosenior
    Thank you Paul Warne
But mostly, thank you David Clowes

Conor Hourihane explained what it is like to work with Warne when he guested on Not The Top 20 Podcast’s YouTube channel.
He said: “He is different in terms of how he goes about his day-to-day business with players. “I think his ultimate strength in my opinion is his man management. “Speaking from my experience, he’s only been warm and caring and loving towards me since he’s come in, I think he’s been like that with everyone. “He’s regularly texting lads, regularly praising guys and he knows how to get the best out of players.
“He’s so hands-on with players, he’s different to what I’ve had previously and I’ve got an amazing connection with him. “I really respect him as a man first and foremost and how he handles guys, and how he handles players. “He’s got a team around him that I thrive off. Richie Barker on the coaching side of things, he’s really good as a coach, Hammy’s (Matt Hamshaw) the same, they’ve got a really good balance in their team of coaches.
“They’ve all got their strengths and the manager leads them to bring out their strengths. “They know how to get that balance right and they work well together and the lads absolutely love working with them everyday.”

Well today we played best football I seen in very very long time spacil in the 2nd half they were outstanding and alright yes the first half we had to hang in there and credit to morecambe they match our game plan but like first half we created a number of chances. But I had one little lad behind only a couple seats away he sang with me and tried his best to match me on loudness. I am slowly creating a sing section. And at the end of the game I gave a little lad a fist pump as mark of respect. I dont think she like people getting behind the team. But back on topic I think one on one with the keeping and he was brought down by morecambe player brought the player down. I said to the people near he should have pulled the ball back let fly with a shot. But mins later macgoldick took beaty of free kick pull the ball back and hit it hard and low to far corner and said that what should done first time. And so pleased james collions to score that pently maybe now get firing again score more goals.
Can we catch Plymouth and wednesday hell yes we can and title fight is on.
    Come on you rams.

I don’t think we’re being outclassed. They’re clearly more of a challenge than the team’s we’re facing in the league, but we’ve got at them a couple of times already. We need a bit more composure in midfield and those attacking moments, we haven’t got as much time on the ball as we’re used to.

    Spot on, as always.
I can't say I was overly enthused by his appointment, partly because of a loyalty to Liam, and partly because of that interview when we sent Wednesday and Rotherham down.
Petty I know, but even @Carl Sagan expressed surprise at his appointment because of his apparent dislike of Derby County, presumably based on the same footage.
First page of this thread, for those interested, he must have missed it when compiling his list of negative posters.
However, I gave him a chance from the off, kept my counsel, not that anyone was hanging off my verdict, and I'm enjoying the season for what it is.
Hard working team, hard working manager and support staff, great fans and the unity continues.

I think he is a manager that Morris would never have found, but he's one Derby have been looking for for a long time.
I'm sure there will be bumps along the way, not too many I hope as I'm enjoying being on this unbeaten run and our hunting down the top league places. #COYR

How exactly … did we get worse ? Can you give the evidence that we got worse!
Rosenior done a fantastic job here under Rooney in difficult circumstances and has put together a good small squad keeping within embargoes and budgets set by efl
his style of play differs to Warnes and what Warne ans his team have done has made us look much fitter than when Rooney and LR were here and that is clear to see
Why do people keep comparing when there is no point whatsoever …fwiw I don’t think Warne would’ve signed the players Rosenior did so we should thank him for assembling a good albeit small squad …Warne has galvanised us I get that …but give Rosenior some credit as he did a god job under difficult circumstances here and conducted himself brilliantly at all times

Coming from behind to win is always great. Doing in when you are losing in the 86th minute is amazing. And away from home.
When did we last do something comparable?

Just got home, I'm hoarse, got sore knees from too much bouncing and ringing in my ears from the absolute bonkers noise in the away end.
It's nights like these that David Clowes has given us back when they were so nearly taken away from us.
As for arguing about budgets and squad values, tonight of all nights!  There's only one thing you need to know - the togetherness of owner, squad, fans - it is priceless.

f****** love our kids, f****** love our oldies, f****** love the inbetweeners too. Keep saying it, but this season and last will stay firmly with me until I shuffle off this mortal coil. Special group of players, a special group of fans and a wonderful, wonderful football club. I've run the gamut of emotions tonight so I'm now going to unwind by cracking open a 30 year old McCallan I was saving for the boys 25th.
I'll buy another in the morning.

He can also be a 19 year old kid on loan at a big but ailing club, with all the pressure that brings, who gets endless stick, way more than any other member of the squad and yet tries his f****** heart out every game, creating as many scoring chances for others as anyone on the roster.

I have decided not to claim my RAMSTV fee back, and DCFC can thank Lewes Dobbin for that as he, despite a very poor miss, lifted me out of my seat 4 times with his runs and efforts. So good to see a wide player skinning a full back, and getting a great cross over. Bloody annoying though that I spilt some beer on my blanket.

Lewis Dobbin, take a bow. Absolutely transformed us tonight. Quick, direct and positive on the ball. A shame for him he didn't get the goal his performance deserved, but he was phenomenal.
