And this is the problem.
If we’d have sulked and dropped our heads and lost every game since the deductions, the EFL would have rubber stamped the PB.
They can’t bear that we may just escape relegation, when I say they, I mean the EFL and the clubs in their ear holes every 5 minutes.
We’ve accepted our deduction, why can’t the EFL accept that we might just be playing for pride and to stick two fingers up at the previous owners actions and where they left us.
Its restrictment of trade when they have no reason to block a buyer, i hope Mike Ashley does buy us and take on the EFL, they’ll all be diving off the sinking ship like rats if it came to explaining everything in court.

Bless Tom Lawrence who says he desperately wants to stay at the club but will understand if he has to be sold to help to secure the future of the club. I really hope he is able to stay.?

We’ve released three and sold one…….all senior players from a tiny squad!
Selling players isn’t sustainable to keep the club afloat.
The takeover they are blocking is the long term solution!
Confirms the EFL want to do as much damage to our club as possible without killing us outright!

EFL showing their true colours. If the takeover happens we will be buying players not selling them.
But they don’t like that

DerbyAVENGERS....Assemble. What a 24 hours folks, the unity, the support, I'm feeling absolutely galavanised by what I have read today. We should all give ourselves a friendly punch in the shoulder and acknowledge, 'we gonna be alright boys, other people know now'.... Lets kick on !

This is exactly what it is.
The EFL are not interested in helping us because they don't thin we have been punished enough yet. Simple. Why haven't we sold players? Perhaps because in a world where the EFL do their jobs properly we get taken over in good enough time and don't need to. They are currently doing everything they can to make sure that doesn't happen.

My reply to Rick Parry today 17/01/2022.
Mr Parry,
Thank you for the reply.
I did not mention ‘killing’ Derby County so I am little confused why you would use such a term.
You have not answered if my points from my previous email.
Can you please answer how your proceedings are transparent bearing in mind one of your representatives is from Middlesbrough who have a dubious legal claim lodged against us. Surely while this ‘claim’ exists he should be removed from his position? This would be akin to having the family member of a victim of crime on a jury. It would look biased and unfair.
I find it highly suspicious that as soon as we got allegedly close to appointing a preferred bidder and potential new owner we have been slapped with another demand. Now as we all know a new owner with funds in early January would only boost our survival chances then all of a sudden we given a new demand with a deadline of the 1st February (just after the transfer window closes)
Yes, this is cynical but as I say I find it suspicious. I was never one for a witch hunt or vendetta previously. Mr Morris was an idiot and he broke the rules. So we deserved our punishment, which we have taken. However, it now seems that certain chairmen wants us relegated no matter what and so do the league. It is also interesting that this demand comes after media reports that other clubs are annoyed we have rejected bids. Bids I might add for our academy players. I do not believe in coincidences and this is all too coincidental.

It’s good news. The whole point is not for the MPs to get the EFL to settle today - they won’t - but to be part of the pressure ratcheting up on the EFL to get to the point of agreement.
So far the EFL have interfered in all the wrong places and not interfered when they should have done. They can’t ignore the MPs and won’t, especially when they know that an independent regulator, which they don’t want, is on the Government’s agenda. So MPs pressure on them is both uncomfortable for them and important for us. They need to be encouraged to find solutions and that’s what the meeting will help to do.
