Looking round here, I think I may have found myself on the entitled Newcastle United fans forum in error.
I’ll try again to find the DCFC fans forum. You know- the one for supporters of the club that nearly went out of business. They had 5 players left. They sold their best up and coming talent. Rooney left them in the lurch. They found themselves in League 1 with a number of young lads and players in their 30s. Somehow, they’re managing to stay in a playoff position despite everything that’s happened. I remember in the 1980s it took two attempts to get out of the ‘3rd division’.
Anyway- I’ll keep searching.

To be fair we only have 3 fans, two of which are B4, whereas forest fans are great because they went to a match in the play offs and got their team over the line. Clark didn't leave under a cloud at all, in fact in the last decade or so he's been chairman and club ambassador and is often at games now along with other legends of the past. 
I don't think anyone overlooks Clark at all and the job he did over a 2 year period in particular was brilliant but there were mitigating factors. Time's were different then financially in football and we were able to virtually keep our entire team together, which included the England captain at the time. Collymore was absolutely electric too and basically a cheat code. 50 goals in 2 seasons says it all and once Stan left it was never the same. 
The job Cooper has done is incredible though, real fairytale stuff that surely even the most ardent Derby fan can't deny.

Why.  You shot you're entire bolt of promotion and parachute money on one years fees and wages.  Probably more now you committed 15 million quid in transfer fees and another 4.5 fee in loan fee and wages for a donkey on a one year contract.  Please don't give us any blurb about future assets.  Firstly,  you never get what you paid on relegation and secondly, I'll give you a pound coin from a pavement covered in dog s*** for Neco Williams this evening.  You'll never get a better return on that 18 million.

Back in the day before mobile phones my wife was in hospital giving birth to our second son. It was August 1991 and the first game of the season ( we drew at Sunderland 1-1). I was armed with money to ring all the family from the public phone box once he had been born.
He duly arrived at 3.40 in the afternoon just before half time. I went down to ring everyone to give them the news but decided to ring the club call line first. ( still remember the number 0898 121187). By the time I had finished I had used all my money before even ringing any of the family.
I pretended that all the public phones near the hospital had been vandalised when the family questioned why it was late in the evening when I rang everyone.
When my first son was born, October 1989, we were playing Cambridge in the League Cup ( we won 5-0). My wife was due at any time and against advice I went to the game and left her the phone number of the Baseball Ground so they could put out an announcement if there were  any developments.
We live in Sheffield and he arrived the next morning. I still get grief even now for going to the game. They still know nothing about the Sunderland game.

I am no fan of VAR but Surridge was offside. It's possible that if VAR was not around the linesman might have put his flag up. I agree with you RedDawn that I'd like to see the back of VAR but sadly that won't happen.
I was shouting for you last night but sadly it wasn't to be. Despite being a Ram season ticket holder in 40 of the last 42 seasons I genuinely wish you the best for the rest of the season.

Cooper said that despite the result he was pleased that supporters got ti walk in the ground thinking they are in a semi final.
Sadly they didn't get to think that as they walked out of the ground.

Still don’t think that’s really his fault, the delay was all coming to an agreement with Sarri, completely out of his control.
Realistically, what could he do?
If he said look, yes I want the Chelsea job, I’ll take it if offered and Chelsea had a change of mind and went elsewhere, there is no going back to Derby after that. Fans would not tolerate it.
If he said he wasn’t interested, then still left he would be called a liar, be hated in Derby.
He could have said to Chelsea, look, if you want me, let’s just do this now or I’m not coming, that would be a dangerous game of chicken with a club he loves and wanted the job.
Then you look at the birthday party, away from work he will have friends and family, they will know the score, no way was he going to turn it down. In a private setting, was he meant to stand up and say look, I’m the Derby manager, don’t be disrespectful, or just laugh it off.
That video should never have made its way online for all to see. Again, not his fault, unless he encouraged it to get Chelsea moving. Without proof of that, it’s difficult to find him guilty of any wrong doing.
To this day he still speaks well of the club, I really don’t get any dislike for him, fine not to wish him well and look out for how he’s doing, but to actively dislike him still to this day is just a bit weird. In my opinion anyway.
Unpopular opinion, start Marriott at Wembley, we would have still lost.
