Eddie got a reaction from I know nothing in Beer Thread
No offence taken.
There are just 13 Trappist breweries, and only 10 of those are currently permitted to display the 'ATP' (Authentic Trappist Product) logo...
Westmalle (Belgium) Westvleteren (Belgium) Chimay (Belgium) Rochefort (Belgium) Orval (Belgium) La Trappe (Netherlands) Zundert (Netherlands) Engelszell (Austria) Tre Fontane (Italy) Mount St Bernard (England) The 3 not permitted to display the logo are...
Mont Des Cats (France) Cardeña (Spain) Achel (Belgium) This is because monks are not directly involved in the brewing process - instead, a local brewery brews the beer for them within the confines of the monastery.
Until a couple of months ago, Spencer Monastery in the USA was also an authentic Trappist brewery, but it has now closed. Unfortunately, Americans seem content with bloody Budweiser.

Eddie got a reaction from The Scarlet Pimpernel in Matchday Thread - Derby County v Barnsley (13/08 15:00)
Perhaps Rosenior's opinion really is that Korey Smith IS one of the best midfielders in the league, and that a run-out when we are ahead, and finishing on the winning side, will be a boost to his confidence?

It must seriously screw with your head, Mr Negative, whenever Derby win.

barring injury or drastic loss of form, Brooke Guest should be taking this record.

I lasted the whole game. I had frozen OJ/lemomade/vodka to get me through

The biggest problem we had was going into a game like this without four absolutely key players (Du Plooy, Madsen, Conners, Scrimshaw).
Disappointing, but Derbyshire remained competitive to the last.

I remember when we thought that the summer of 1976 was hot.

You lasted far longer than we did. It was horrendously hot.

Yeah, which is why I’m relatively pleased with the performance. If you throw in Godleman despite his poor form and no second overseas due to injury/hundred that’s a lot for a county our size to cope with and remain competitive.

Eddie got a reaction from Steve How Hard? in Beer Thread
Just (3 days ago) ordered 12 x 75 cl Straffe Tripel and 6 x 75 cl Straffe Quad.
I noticed just after I placed the order that the delivery charge (normally €31.50) came to €0.00 - obviously a problem with De Halve Maan website.
Naturally, being an honest person (and De Halve Maan being my favourite brewery in the world), I emailed them immediately about the problem, offering to make a separate payment to cover the shipping.
They fulfilled the order anyway.
