I don't get the point about transfer fees though. The restrictions are there to prevent teams gaining an unfair advantage by scooping up all of the talent, something that Stoke were engaging in when they first got relegated. By exploiting loopholes, they've so far avoided being punished for overspending and I don't see the EFL pursuing them with the same vigor that they applied to us, which doesn't seem right.

Swansea have confirmed Nathanael Ogbeta is leaving as a free agent. If Bolton don’t go up (hopefully they don’t) I could see us getting being in for him as I imagine he’ll want a championship move. In his last 2, 6 month loans to league one with Peterborough and Bolton, he’s played 36 games getting 3 goals and 7 assists from left back or left wing back. He’s comfortable in a back 4 or 5 so would suit us perfectly. 
 
He’d be a great option on a free with good potential. Should it work out we have a good attacking wing back with good sell on potential ina couple of years.

looking forward to to fixture list coming out, can’t attend every home game as finances don’t allow it but I’ll certainly be coming down with my wee lad to take in a few games next season.

In any season where you're not starting in the top flight, promotion is the goal. That's the beauty of football - we all begin equal, and there are always surprises. That's why we have hope, even if it's the hope that kills you. I get that many don't like them, but the genius of the playoffs if that it maintains interest for so many teams all the way through to near the season finale. I'd hope we would still be in with a chance of making them with a very few games to go, even if we don't quite get over the line. I'd really hope we do get over the line.

I genuinely think we might surprise people this coming year.
I think if we recruit well in the forward positions and maintain our defensive consistency, I don't see why we can't finish 12th-16th.

To be fair, @SECornerRAM only really posts when they have a bit of info: Bradley and Bird being out injured, revealing the kit supplier will be Puma as far back as Feb. The only real one they got wrong was James Collins initially being out "for the season" which was quickly revised to "8-10 weeks" (more or less the same thing) - it was actually 6 weeks, and we all know Collins is superhuman
