He was at Derby far longer than most managers, while most supporters wanted him to succeed because of who he was, it just wasn’t working, with attendances falling rapidly.
 We were in 14th place when he was sacked.
He took 4 attempts to get Mansfield promoted from league two despite being well backed by the Chairman.

He did his own scouting? Wasn't it his brother? 
I've always wondered why if he's so marvellous he takes an absolute age to take a team up? 
I don't think he's got that managerial flair to get a team into the prem? He's a bit of a steady Eddie, imo.

Think the ref was Ray Tinkler who if I recall correctly witnessed Bremner being booted out of the Wolves dressing room by Mike Bailey after he had tried to offer “incentives” to throw the game. 

Turned them down apparently a couple of weeks ago. 

For them to be offside, there has to be a pass made, there was no pass, just a kick and chase after by Nish. If a player dribbles past the last defender and scores, it doesn't matter how many of his team mates are offside unless they're actually interfering with the keeper.
This was a genius bit of play by Nish counteracting a well known Man U tactic and it was 100% wrong to be pulled up for it.

But an FA Cup final win has always resulted in a trophy, and a trip to Europe.
Giants like Southampton, Wimbledon, Coventry, Portsmouth, Wigan, and even Fester, have been awarded thus, in the dark distant past.  
Regardless of opinion on Man U, we shouldn't begrudge an FA Cup Winner the entry into Europe.  It's about all the competion has going for it nowadays.  The once famous competition is nigh on dead on it's arse as it is!
