Disappointing start as pre-season sounded so positive. But think just too anxious to win. They had bit between teeth due to -8 points. On the upside
- first and only home defeat out of way
- no unbeaten run to get stressed about 
- no jinx from manager of month for august in Sept
- no further offers for players
- window still open
They won because of 2 daft goals.it happens.  No need for all the angst. Felt sorry for Bradley. Liked Ward. Great goal from Fozzy. Some classy skills on show from Wilson and great attitude with youngsters at end despite loss. 
 
What was the idiot on pitch at end thinking? 
Lee from Korea can never come again. Total jinx.
igor's first game was 1-4 loss and saw tweet this week showing that in last 5 or 6 promotion seasons started season badly with often say 2 or thereabouts wins from first 6- 8 games. Cant find it now.

Well didnt he score three and have one disallowed in the closed match? it may have been against an under 10s team but suggests some level of fitness. 

I think the fact he was on the Wednesday bench, means he's not first choice, then they brought on 2 other forwards, and then after Southampton took the lead, he brought on a midfielder..and so Smith, last years top goalscorer wasn't even thought of...speaks volumes of his managers intentions.
I would suggest he will definitely leave this window..just whether we can afford him is the issue!

I think he’ll be on the bench but he’s got great mobility and will drag defenders out of position and others will benefit in terms of space created. 

Tin foil hats on - PW says people in football lie, we're being mucked around by clubs/strikers we really want and nothing's moving, good relations with blackpool where he's always been going and Waggy as his son is in academy, he trains/trials with us very publicly, we talk of a potential deal, PW discusses how little we have left for incoming players and suddenly other clubs/strikers pretty sure we're about to sign our only other perm striker suddenly stop mucking about and bob's your uncle we get who we really want, waggy goes to blackpool and everyone lives happliy ever after.
