Playoffs aren't nailed on just yet. I think our home form guarantees we'll be in the thick of it but we do need to win a few more away from home to be sure of a playoff spot. It could be our team tires, or we get a few injuries and our form drops back down to earth. Personally, I think we'll finish 4th and get to the final whether we'll win that or not I wouldn't want to say. However, it would not massively surprise me if we finish 7th either.

I think the experience away from home varies but it has become worse this season I think. We've unfortunately got (like every club) some people who can't handle their ale or are just generally badly behaved. Travelling back on the train from Bolton was not especially pleasant with additional problems at Manchester Oxford Road station. I was called this and that by a grown man with his teenage kid in tow as I politely suggested that there was a line for queuing and it wasn't polite just to skip it for his own convenience, and when I ignored his abusive responses he got more and more agitated until he basically wanted a fight. It was embarrassing behaviour.

At Lincoln I took my gf and the behaviour of some (trying to confront Lincoln all game and throwing stuff) has put her off a little from returning I think. Those 'fans' honestly seemed more bothered about the opposite set of supporters than what was happening on the pitch. The sad thing is, all it takes is a small minority (a few dozen) who can then wreck it for everyone else. You've got some younger lads causing trouble all day and when the police finally have had enough they act like small kids and apologise to try and worm their way out of a fine or being reported to the club.
But I'm going to Barnsley with a mate and he's excited. I think generally it's fun but all it takes is one moment and it spoils the day a little. Sadly, if I had a kid I probably wouldn't take them to away games until they were at least 14/15 with our current following. It makes me sad as when I was that age, I used to get the roadrider with a mate from school and we'd travel the country together. Unfortunately, I can't see many doing that now.

Oh yeah I love Hassenhuttl tbh and at some points he had them playing so well. I think there's a very good manager there with sufficient resources. But even before the season started he seemed under pressure after their form was in a nose dive. It seemed like a natural conclusion to thank him for his service and get rid in the summer.
In that sense Jones came into a sinking ship and generally people need time to take it in the direction they want. Maybe he was in awe of the players and not 'big enough' for the role but then why did they hire him in the first place? I'm glad for yours and your son's sake they've gotten rid of him though. Hopefully, they'll pick up in form ?

Arguing trans people are 'biological women' (actually not true) is very much in vogue atm. I'm pretty certain if someone at my uni denied this then they'd be in front of a disciplinary hearing

How about not trying to justify the unjustifiable. If his beef was with the timing of the points deduction the fault sat with the efl not us. It's as simple as this: your chairman could have killed our club and if you as a football fan think that's excusable then shame on you.

We've got your honest opinion, you think your owners financial blackmail was justified - you blame the EFL, we blame you lot!
I have to say we've recovered so well from the horrors of administration but this has bought back unpleasant memories and a little bit of the massive hurt and anguish that lots of Derby fans went through.
So, I'd prefer it if you'd sling your hook mate!

Not his comments but his actual financial DEMANDS.
No-one would take on our Club with Wycombe and Boro's financial blackmail hanging over us. Your owner knew we couldn't wait to resolve the issue, we couldn't go to arbitration.
The issue which was down to the EFL not us that is, and still he kept on with the financial demands. So we had to pay up. How do your fans feel about that? What on earth were you pushing us to the brink of non-existence for?

I think it is clear what motived the Wycombe owner.
It provided him with a platform and publicity
There was a chance of extorting some money from us, he effectively held us to ransom.
His actions  could have been responsible for forcing us into liquidation.

    Hi All,
A Wycombe fan in peace and can I firstly apologise for some of our fans and the comments you have seen. I think some are still very disappointed that we had 1 season in the championship and very few of us were able to witness it as COVID restrictions were in effect and if we had stayed up, we would have been able to witness history being made by our club. I also think that our anger is mis-directed as it should be fully on Mel Morris, rather than the club as he effecting both of our fans (your fans more than ours) so I think some fans on our side need to take stock of a few things.....
