Obviously at our humble level…but the mentality for the remaining games has got to be similar to Citeh and Liverpool, home or away, whatever the opposition they go for the 3 points. don’t start thinking a draw away at Portsmouth is a good result we play for a win every game remaining. So are you saying you would have preferred Bolton winning tonight who are also above us and would then be 3 points ahead of us even though we still have to play them.
And if you didn’t like tonight’s draw then you would have preferred Barnsley winning tonight who then would have the same points as us, with a game in hand, and if they won that, they would be 3 points ahead of us, but we don’t play Barnsley though.
Surely the draw has enabled us to be just 1 point behind both teams, if Barnsley win their game in hand. And better still if Barnsley lose their game in hand, they are 2 points behind us, or draw it, 1 point behind us.

Surely that is the perfect result for us? We have Bolton to play at home.

Sheffield United are truly horrific, and their fans are a complete disgrace.
During THAT season I believe our fans were voted Player of the Season. Every game was a sell out, and bizarrely, the longer the season went on, and the more we fell behind the rest of the league, the better the support was at Pride Park. We took the piss out of ourselves, and every set of away fans that turned up. It seems some of our best times as fans have been when we face adversity. Strange bunch us Rams fans.
Last night Brammel Lane was half empty by half time. Tin pot club, with tin pot fans.

I think we should be aiming for that and nothing less.
We have got nothing to fear in this league and with out our own downfalls we would be in a pretty position…
We have got players like ward to step up, CBT can have a big few months, players back from injury.. so it’s all positive!

You know that once something like a football season is finished the league table is final and recorded in history as something that ACTUALLY happened right? Barnsley finished 4th, because they accumulated the 4th highest amount of points in the league;
 
 

Lots of ifs and buts, but if Bolton win their game in hand or Barnsley win their two games in hand they will only be 4 points behind Portsmouth with 10 games remaining. I personally wouldn’t consider that as running away with it.
They have the advantage but not running away with it.
