Yeah, those are my thoughts really. If we get through the next 3 games in good shape, we will be in a really good position, but this forum is mood swingy enough without setting unrealistic expectations.
I still think we are poor/ better then what we was but feel we are riding our luck.

No I’m sorry, no need to apologise I just misunderstood what you meant.
I still think my counter point still stands though, I don’t think we are a one man team. NML is talented and carries a threat, he would in any side at this level, but others have scored and assisted goals too.Totally agree, but is that because of warnes style of everything going through nml? I thought barks was having a greater game and hes the one to make way?

But your post was it’s only ever NML that offers a threat, or words to that effect, right? My counter point is…not tonight it isn’t.
He’s probably our best attacking player, not denying that, but as I’ve said many times before we’re definitely not the one man team some say we are, in my view anywayNo i ment had enough of warne making it a mdl show, because of warne i miss having a midfield that run the show( it might be my way i came across i am awful at putting things into words sorry)

The goal came down the right hand side involving Ward, Collins and Hourihane. Ward and Barkhuizen are involved in the attacking third, it’s not all NML…in my opinion
Saturday wilson was doing well down the right, then warne changes mdl on the right we died and swaped it gain wilson was back in the game

Am i the only one that get annoyed about everything is based around NML anyone is great if the team is based around you! Lets be a team

The only surprise is he didn't combine the stories and say we were looking at a swap deal involving Bird & Hogan.
I would take hogan but you would still want a few million on top to be able to get a couple of midfielders to strengthen us if we did lose bird. If i was bird i would be tempted of a move away because of the style we play on saturday he could of just stayed at home as we had no intensions of going down the middle it was just long over to the corner for NML.

In your opinion, which is fair enough, but for me she got everything spot on, including pen.

Rubbish.
She got every major call right.
Warne had no arguments with the bookings or penalty.
She could have been tougher on their time wasting and general shithousery, but every booking was correct, as was the penalty.Hourihane could have had a red.
She was awful! She told us to hurry up everytime yet they got to take as longs as possible! Throwings in wrong places and we were getting told to stay where we were. Also our bookings were bookings apart from collins where they had quite a few which she didnt book early on which caused her to have a rod for her own back! She got quite a few corner/ goal kicks wrong in the game. Granted she cant have a good game everytime but she should not be ref in the premier league.

I dont understand why everyone thinks its a striker issue if jj stays fit i think we are fine itwms a creative midfielder we need the only part of the pitch i think we stuggle in is midfield

It’s boring football because it’s a ‘boring’ league. The lack of real quality means the ball spends a lot of time in the air.
However, we wouldn’t be calling it boring if we had someone up front or running from midfield who could put away some of the crosses put in by Wilson, NML and Co.
The fact they are headed or hoofed away leaves the spectator disgruntled.
I know I'm not having a dig thats why I said about getting out the league and building from there, I don't feel it's up front I feel its hourihane letting the midfield down recently

Good win, yet very boring football again. Don't enjoy watching the style we play but a wins a win get us out this league and then concentrate on building from there.

it’s a suggestion thread, so i made a suggestion…..
Yes i go pep then... Corsley has been linked with Ireland and outsider for England let's be realistic! I would love to see Carsley but let's stay level headed

Not read the thread, so apologies if it’s already been mentioned.
I wouldn’t mind a punt at Lee Carsley if we could prise him off the England job. Good with young players and plays exciting football.
Think we need to invest in a manager for the future (Mckenna at Ipswich) who will play exciting football and not just hopefully get us promoted, but will also do well in the Championship.
With Warne, i wouldn’t feel confident IF we did get promoted, that we would be able to kick on and try and give the Championship another go
Never going to get lee carsle get real!

Better players though.. Say for example NC had not signed Martin…
A perspective I have is that A N Other manager will struggle the get this team to score goals due to personnel. The replacement manager will suddenly need to get Washington and Collins to not miss chances.
Difference is stevie mac got goals from all the team warner trying and not succeeding! I'd give barkhuizen a chance up front

I’m anti sack Warne, then punt on someone else in hope that it works.
Not sure if that makes me pro Warne by default.
Im not sure any manager can resolve the goal scoring problem without recruiting someone who we cannot recruit. This problem has been around since Cocu with several managers other than when we all to briefly had McGoldOne.
We desperately need to find a gem forward from none league or somewhere. Until this happens we can keep perming different managers with likely similar outcomes.
Nigel Clough to Stevie mac say no more

Sack him, put bucko in charge for northampton and get carsley in long term.
Corsley would never join us! Way to good even Ireland want him as manager of the national team

Clowes won't get rid the results haven't been bad enough for that
Not bad enough? We are a mid table league 1 team! With one of the best squad in the league. The right manager and our squad we should be mid table championship. So regardless to that he's failed

Keep it on the floor. Play through midfield. And we might get something from this game
That's too simple the one time we have we scored... but Paul Warne is a specialist he knows what he's doing obviously

The only specialist way he’s getting is out of this division at this rate is down to league 2

Didnt finish
I think alot of it starts from the management/the football. Paul warne is too nice that its just boring sometimes it takes abit of aggression to get the fans going, even from the players on the pitch abit of fight! Its why it worked under rooney as everyone were fighting for each other, and if everyone is fighting theres that feeling where it gets the fans going
