I have a few occasions to use chiropractors and Osteopaths. Usually with good results.

Years ago as a relative youngster, after a shunt in a car, a chiro sorted out horrendous neck and shoulder pain but it did take 4 or 5 visits
About 20 years ago I got nasty sciatic pain and an osteo worked wonders
For a different reason it came back recently. Did a Chiro with little benefit but found another and I am pretty much back to full power.

Backs and bones near Allestree Park have a fab reputation and it’s worked for me

I now ignore historical achievements, matchday attendances, size of the wider fanbase and overall potential.
My true judgement on what constitutes a big club is whether Mexican Football Monthly magazine has mentioned the club in the last year or so.

Chiropractor to sort it (it's not that expensive mate!), then Pilates as a preventative measure once you're mended, though I'd be sure to get yourself checked over thoroughly BEFORE doing anything to make sure there's not an issue that might be exacerbated rather than fixed. The lower back stuff may simply be sciatic pain which is really easy to mitigate, but the hip issue could potentially be an arthritic condition.

Out of nowhere, whilst away camping in Bruges, Easter 2023, I had severe pains/restrictions with both shoulders.  Bad enough to keep me awake for 3 nights running, until the Belgian pain killers got into my system.
Literally didn't have enough strength in my arm(s) to raise a hairbrush to my head, or raise one arm high enough to wash my armpits, without help from the other hand!  😲
Could just about manage to brush my teeth and/or shave, but it was a struggle, and not pain free!  I couldn't reach any higher.  Muscles had shot it!
Bro in law recommended a chiropractor following decent results on his back.
I was sceptical, it has to be said.
Due to the recommendation, my initial appointment/scans/assessment etc was free.
I had trapped nerves in/around the shoulders/upper arms.  "Tech neck" (I've always stooped at the shoulder, to be fair).  A slight sideways curve of the spine.  And a leaning of the hips (One higher than the other).  (None had caused me any grief prior).

I then signed up initially to a set of 6 x 15min appointments (Worked out cheaper than paying for one at a time).  Two per week to start with.
More scans/re-assessment showed we were heading in the right direction.  (Which I could feel for myself, I hasten to add!).
I continued another set of six at one per week.  More improvements followed
I've continued since, but whilst the improvements continue/problems desist, the gap between appointments get wider. (They don't rip you off, and it helps to avoid dropping back into old habits!)
My last appointment was a fortnight ago, and I'm not due to go again until mid August.
Now... of course... there is the small matter of self help.  I'm now into doing certain stretching exercises for a good 5/6mins each morning (even before my coffee!) and again in the evening.  But it's them that advise what stretches to do, and how/when to do them.  It ain't willy-nilly or hocus pocus, and I'm happy to continue to get expert advice.
The incentive is purely based on how much "looser" I feel now, compared to Easter '23.
And I'm amazed that they can actually feel (externally) where the tight spots are (internally).  They also do a cracking massage, when needed.
... Oh... nearly forgot... midway through my first batch of treatments, I proper did my back in humping my F-I-L's (God rest his soul. xxx) mobi-scooter into the car boot.  They sorted that for me too.  There was no problem with them diverting from shoulder/neck treatment to back treatment!  (In reality, it was a bit of both, all within the 15min appointment).
Without doubt, they have worked wonders!
Without doubt, it has thus far proved to be worth every penny.
Without doubt, I would highly recommend...

(I go to Chester Green.  They also have one somewhere in Chello).
Happy to PM my real name, if it helps anyone get a free assessment.  (No idea if they still do that, or if it was a special/temporary offer?)

For all the dead tree press making comments about the damage to the roads being caused by heavy EVs, apparently this was not quite the correct evaluation of a report into road damage.
Yes, they acknowledged that average vehicle weight is increasing, but of course we have heavy vehicles delivering goods every day. However, the report made a correlation between increased adverse weather and increased road damage.
It's likely that the biggest causes of the extra damage are environmental, so global warming will be more responsible than the batteries - and they will be helping with the global warming problems, rather than adding to them. The papers don't want to tell you that though!

Lionel is an absolute legend to most, if not all, of the fans of that era. He brought some very exciting times to Derby and as I understand it, spent every penny he had on the club.
The Three Amigos managed to fool a lot of people - hindsight and all that.
I'd defo contribute to a fund raising campaign for a statue. The man deserves a huge amount of respect and recognition for his role in our history.

I feel that is somewhat disingenuous.  Lionel had the rug pulled from underneath him by the club’s bankers who got twitchy about the £15m mortgage they held on Pride Park Stadium.  I worked for LVP at that time and while he was a little susceptible to whispers in his ear at the Yew Tree, he did try to do the right things.
And you have to remember he wasn’t as wealthy as Clowes is. Even in an era for era comparison he would not be able to run DCFC these days.  Very successful with his media businesses - and well off no doubt - his pockets weren’t that deep.
i do think he is well deserving of permanent tribute.

Derby were a far bigger club than West Ham from the latter's first appearance in the Football League in 1920 until Derby's decline in the 1950s, and it wasn't until West Ham moved to their taxpayer-funded stadium in 2017 that they exceeded Derby's record average attendance of 37,000. Whenever we were at the same level between 1969 and 2002, I regarded us as similar sized clubs, with one being more successful in knock-out competitions but never good enough to even get close to winning a league title (they have ONE top 4 finish to their credit compared to our FIFTEEN, which of course includes 2 league titles).
They've moved ahead of us in recent years thanks entirely to their free stadium and the emergence of London as a World Class City and thus a magnet for wealthy foreign investors, but until they win a league title, they're 'all mouth and trousers'.

I tend to score a lot of even rounds now when I bother to try and keep score on a fight because I find if I feel the need to give rounds one way or the other then I often end up with a score that doesn’t reflect the fight I’ve watched but that s just my way of doing it and unless the counter puncher is a very good boxer I tend to favour the man trying to make the fight , like @Alph said I thought Catterall was a bit too handy with his head and lead shoulder so I couldn’t really warm to how he went about the job 🤷🏻‍♂️

It was an interesting fight stylistically.
Taylor was doing all the pressing,  was working the body and looked fitter and stronger for periods.
Catterall had an awkward stance, bobbed and ducked continously and Taylor just couldn't work him out. It almost felt unfair as he desperately poured forward looking for the gap/angle to catch Catterall and walked onto another explosive left to the side of his face. Catterall also used his head a lot and frequently almost barged him back with his shoulder to create the gap he needed to keep evading any of Taylor's power shots.
Felt to me like if it was a good old fight in a park with a load of school kids watching, that Taylor would have won but in the ring he just couldn't work out how to stop Catterall backing off and drawing him in before crunching him in the face.

On the other hand, if Stretford hadn't paid the players wages when Kirchner's money didn't turn up, we might have been liquidated before DC even had his cheque book out. I regard Rooney quitting in the end as "doing the decent thing". He was too eager in his support for Kirchner and was possibly embarrassed about that in the end, but it's a bit churlish to disregard all of the positive stuff he did to keep the club together, even if he's not proven to be a competent manager subsequently.

Archied reacted to Highgate in Starship and a Human city on Mars
I'm all for space exploration in principle, but it seems to me the timescales being thrown about are wildly optimistic.  Given the fragility of the human body and it's unsuitability for other worlds there is every reason to progress very cautiously.
Human population is projected to peak at about 11 billion before the end of the century and then fall from that point onwards, so there is every possibility we won't end up overpopulating this planet after all.
Catastrophic events that will wipe us all out from space are a remote possibility, even if they are technically possible. The more realistic threats for extinction are already here on earth.  Nuclear War and deadly pandemics being the biggest two to spring to mind. Climate change, although potentially disastrous, is not a extinction level event for me. If surviving such events is really one of the principal reasons for building Mars colonies, then it's surely far easier to building self contained, isolated and safe colonies here on Earth that would survive those calamities...underground or even under the sea.  And much cheaper too.
I don't think humanity's problem is that we think Earth is too special, our problem is rather is that we don't realize how special it really is. We take it far too much for granted. No matter how successful any potential explorations of space could be, we will never find any planet or moon as suitable for human life as this one. That's surely a given, seeing as we have evolved on Earth, and have billions of years of adapting to Earth's particular habitat behind us. Our physiology and anatomy has been determined by our home planet.
Again, I am in favour of space exploration, it's a great source of scientific innovation among other things, but right now, given all the problems we face on this planet, our larger priority should be dealing with terrestrial issues.

Hope he stays , there’s talent there but how far he can go remains to be seen , I do think it’s being underestimated how much warne could offer the lad and how much the last few seasons troubles and needs have played a part in sibs progress, let’s be fair and say that needs must have played a big part in how sibs has been played and let’s be honest , warne has brought out stuff in sibs in a different position most of us would have thought was well beyond his skill set so there’s nothing to say warne and the coaches can’t find the best in sibley and bring it out , we may well see sibs move to his preferred position?  and improve , the lad has just had a very good season ending in promotion for the club he loves in which he was a very important part of the team , don’t underestimate that
