MickD reacted to Blondest Goat in Sonny Bradley
Fully deserves criticism of course. But now he's made out to be far worse than he is and the "never play in a derby shirt again" comments are laughable.

He made a mistake, he’s only human.
Is it his fault that Rooney, Nyambe Forsyth are injured? Is it his fault that Ward and Wilson look shakey at right back?
He should know better and it has left us in a bit of a pickle. But as others have alluded to, he’s hardly been prime Maldini.
Not too long ago if he’d have got a 3 match ban nobody would’ve batted an eye lid.
Ultimately we’re better off with him available, especially with our injury problems. He probably hasn’t earnt his corn and he made a mistake. But he won’t be the first or the last.
He may come back for Leyton Orient and help us win our last 3.

Oh god. The inevitable sanctimonious pile-on. And here's me thinking this forum couldn't get any more tedious.

Couldn’t help thinking - watching England Brazil - that despite being in a different league MacGuire displays a few of the same failings that Bradley does

I know he's no McFarland but he's a class above Claude Davis in my opinion - you must've never seen him play, have a bad memory or just don't like him to suggest he's worse than Davis.

Makes Claude Davis look like Maldini. Utterly horrific signing.

This the sort of ‘right character’ Warne insisted we needed at the club.
A marquee summer signing that’s struggled to hold down a place, been more detrimental than positive when he has played and is in all likelihood probably the highest paid defender in the league.
A true leader knowing we’re down to our last three centre backs, in a huge promotion run-in, slaps his daft head on another player because of his own inadequacies. Any chance we can get out from under his contract his summer needs to be explored.

MickD reacted to Matchday Fred in The run-in: some analysis
90 pts should do it, 92 certainly will. Focus on that rather than what other teams are doing. Win the next game, that is all for now.

Great goal by Gayle
yiadom stupid tackle already on a yellow so secondable bookable offence.

You need to think more carefully as to why Tommo isn't getting on the pitch more , not rocket science (Korey Smith does far more with the ball)

By the look of that goal they didn't need a tall striker.
Someone must have filled wildsmiths boots with concrete as well......

MickD reacted to Simmo’s left foot in Bolton sellout.
Really, so drug taking, throwing stuff that could cause injury and vandalism is just letting off steam? There are signs all around the pride park about such behaviour, yet nothing is done home or away when it happens?

MickD reacted to Mucker1884 in Bolton sellout.
Bit harsh mate. (If you don't mind me saying!)
We all got up to stuff in the past, but that don't make it right/acceptable/civilised/considerate.
It's all well and good if everyone involved is up for it.
But if said flying seats/coins/phlegm/rotten tomatoes etc rained down on 86 year old @oldfogeyram, and his 9 year old great grandson @you'veneverlivedsonram, they'd have every right to be a bit miffed, when all they did was to come out to enjoy the footy together before the former pops his Dutch footwear!
How would you react if someone shoved a banger (firework) in yer airbrick this evening?
Or you had an egg smashed all over your brand spanking new Cortina windscreen when you come out for work tomorrow?
How about the fire brigade banging on your door at 11pm tonight, because "We've received a 999 call..."?
All jolly japes bitd. None of them are life-threatening of course*, but they're still not what we want in this day and age, eh?
I doubt anyone expects sanitised conditions/behaviour/language at the match, but there has to be limits, and going back 4-5 decades is no way to move forwards!
Yours sincerely
Nancy.

*The Fire brigade may well argue that! Fair enough!
