  1. I bet Haye got an erection when Bellew called him out, what with Bellew now getting some hype.

I know all boxers have to keep their value high by the way.

Joshua isn't going to fight Klitshcko next is he no matter what happens to Fury. Not got the financial lure of Fury or Wilder and it's high risk.

But with Haye... He has the ability to take on some far higher ranked fighters than what he will routinely take. Briggs is just a name. He'll be breathing out his arse after 2 rounds.

He said after that last fight "we were looking for people with undefeated records and this guy was the best of who's available"

Why undefeated? Because you hoped he wouldn't look like such a coward and you'd get closer to the money fight with Joshua.

Because there's a good few fighters out there with defeats on their record that were way more credible fights. And Haye would beat them.

I'd love it if Briggs nailed him in the 2 minutes he's got in the tank.

Annoyingly I know Haye is too good by far

  2. I'm glad Bellew is giving Haye some grief.

Not going to criticise Haye's ability but there's blokes out there that get accused of pampering their records, picking fights carefully and being in it purely for money that do those things less than Haye.

He's a good fighter so there's no need for it.

But he'll only take risks when the money is big. He'll fight Bellew because it's a win. Same as Briggs. He won't fight Fury because it's high risk and low (ish) reward. He wouldn't dream of fighting Wilder because again, high risk, low reward. And he'd happily fight Joshua even though it's very high risk but Joshua is the money magnet (hence champions calling HIM out).

Haye isn't big money on his own.

No chance will he fight Fury. Not until it's worth getting knocked out for. Forget glory and belts.

Which is a shame because he's dangerous to everyone.

Not a Haye fan as you can guess.

He will only fight Whyte if it's the only way to land Jo$hua

  3. When she doesn't stack pots in the sink correctly. A plate on a bowl on a cup?

When they finish with a toilet roll and leave the cardboard in the bog

When she doesn't arrange food neatly on the plates. Including her plate

Being asked where I'm going when I'm heading upstairs

My daughter saying "pardon" when she's heard you.

Having a rubbish bag 5 yards from the black bin. Unless it's raining grenades then just walk outside?

When she puts things ON the bag instead of IN the bag

When one of them, not sure which, puts a plate with any food on it in the sink.

When any of them, including the tiny one, leave cereal in a bowl.

    The smell of toast

When she does jam on toast but rations the jam.

Teaoffee or Coftea. Use a different spoon!!!!

When the bigger one leaves baby wipes around for the tiny one to empty the packet and then the fooking furry one eats them!!!

Strapping them in the car when they sit on the groin bit and stare at you as you try to fish it out.

When the tiny one sucks toothpaste off the brush.

When she does their hair. The noise is a bloody joke.

He is so funny though haha. And he is not over hyped like Eubank Jnr. TBF to him canelo should have fought GGG the pussy

Think Canelo knows that there's more money to be made by going this way about it?

It actually looks as if McGregor v Mayweather is going to happen.

It'll be millions and millions straight into Mayweather's pockets for an easy fight. I know McGregor can punch and comes from a boxing background doesn't he? But he's not going to outbox Floyd Mayweather!!!

Make it an MMA fight and it might be interesting (although one punch and it's over?) but in a boxing match...

  5. That wasn't the dude Briggs was supposed to fight. Late replacement.

That coward Haye fought shouldn't get a penny. I'd fight Haye for that money and I'd fight exactly like that too.

Height advantage, reach advantage and then steps in without throwing?

Looking to go down asap. Waste of space.

He just doesnt seem to care that much, and as what he has achieved cant be topped. Look at the shape he is in ffs. Peter fury is a great trainer, hope hughie lives up to his potential. They have to get his food allergy thing sorted, it seems like it is affecting his performances

See, he says it can't be topped but the division is split. He could unify the titles.

There's some huge fighters left to prove himself against. Povetkin, Ortiz, Wilder, Browne, Joshua... maybe Stiverne? Glazkov? Haye? Wach? Briggs even?

Klitshcko was a huge win. But his next biggest win is waaaaay lower level.

How can you say you've achieved everything when there's 36-0 (?) champions like Wilder? Guys that have only lost to Wlad or Vitali and then other undefeated champions at that level. Two who are 25-0 ish. Even Price could come up again.

I like Hughie Fury. Gaining lots of experience isn't he? Not packing much of a punch but he's learning more than Joshua has from some fights. Whyte v Hughie would be a great watch if it happened.

Up until last week he'd been punch perfect. Hope he does whatever he needs to do to get back to before that last fight.

I love Tyson Fury , but shame he isnt in shape and doesnt care about boxing any more. At the same time, I cant blame him, 27, been through a lot, battling his deamons, has 2 kids, pregnant wife and he has just seen someone nearly die in the ring. He has made money, had a good career and fair play to him when he retires

Depends if you believe a word he says.

When the guy talks serious you realise what an intelligent boxing man he is. It's rare, but he goes into more depth than a pundit!!

Most of what he says is usually either self promotion or its aimed at someone in particular.

The same week he mentioned retiring his wife was saying how he's happy to be back in camp, how he's missed it.

He might retire. But I bet not for long. He might step aside and let the top dogs fight it out amongst themselves, come back in 18 months, add another 5 names to his record and then take on whoever #1 is.

Or he might be putting pressure on Hearn and Joshua to tip the purse towards him more.

You never know with Fury. He's clever. But I don't believe he doesn't love boxing. He's too passionate about it when he accidently stops clowning around.

Like him, but I can't see him being unbeaten for long. For all the criticism aimed at Joshua... Fury wasn't exactly fighting beasts himself. Him v Haye would have been good. But Haye obviously didn't fancy it because of his swollen wallet... I mean toe.

  8. There was always going to come a point where Khan stopped getting in and out quick enough.  He executed perfectly the first 3 rounds. But in the 4th Canelo began to hold more. Less knockout blows and more measured brawl.

Whether it be tiredness or over confidence there was always going to come a time when he stuck around too long.

Khan needs either a steel chin or real power to go with his speed. Think winning the first 4 rounds looked good but 12 rounds of getting in and out... It would have to be the greatest performance ever.

I'm going for a Kahn win against the Mexican who looks like he's Irish.

Don't know why, he hasn't got the chin and he's in the wrong weight division....just think he might be too fast, hopefully improved his defence and will win on points.

    Probs get knocked out, though.

If he does win then we'll probably have to wait a year for Golovkin to fight Canelo. But I hope he does. He's fast but don't think that will save him.

    Bet it's at 4am anorl isn't it?

I have seen Medina fight a couple times,Mexicans consider him a huge prospect but never beat anybody really (One fight I saw of his actually was against Badou Jack in 2013 and I remember Jack punishing him for the most part in that one).I think Medina will not test Degale too much but give a better effort and performance than Wade did vs. GGG for sure.

Yeah Ortiz and Berto fought in 2011 where Ortiz won the decision. It was an awesome fight, fight of the year contender.

Yeah really looking forward to the Jack/Bute fight also.

Here are some websites mate I visit often and they have some really good stuff and some podcasts with some good analysis, news etc if want something to listen to.

Some good fights upcoming this weekend @Alpha.

Victor Ortiz vs. Andre Berto- This should be a pretty good fight, will take Berto in a decision.

Edwin Rodriguez vs. Thomas Williams Jr-Have watched Rodriguez fight a few times before and watched Williams before too. Will take Rodriguez in a split decision in this light heavyweight bout.

Badou Jack vs. Lucian Bute- Jack should win and retain his title in fight;however if Bute fights as hard as he did in the last 6 rounds of his fight with DeGale, could surprise Jack here.

James DeGale vs. Porky Medina(Great name).-DeGale with a TKO in this one.

Plan on watching any of these mate?

Really want to watch Badou Jack v Bute. I think/hope it could be a blockbuster. Hopefully stay awake for it!

Never seen Medina fight. Not even highlights. I'm assuming he's not great? Not huge hype around this one. Eddie Hearn was explaining how the IBF don't always provide the best fights with the way their rankings work?

Is this guy gonna even test Degale? Not like Golovkin last week. That was a poor match up.

Ortiz has fought Berto before? Thought I read that the other day?

But yeah, Jack v Bute I fancy the look of.

  12. For some reason in boxing Champions are adored and everyone else is just there to discredit.

I dunno how it's viewed in America but over here everyone is supremely confident that Fury will win. So much talk about how Joshua will fight him for this and how Haye will get a fight for that.

Doesn't seem like it's even been considered that he's fighting a legend and a bloke who has been beaten before and came back stronger than ever. Klitshcko will have to improve but so will Fury. We know Klitshcko can... can Fury? That was the best we've ever seen him.

They've talked about Breazeale, Stiverne and Molina for Joshua on June 25th.

Breazeale has been the first to respond.

Was hoping it would be Stiverne tbh. A solid and established heavyweight who is the only mark on Wilder's perfect record.

  13. Yeah, it'll be another win for Golovkin. I like him too AR. Think him and Canelo will happen next year.

Seen Joshua taking some flak over who he's been fighting. Mostly from Fury's and Fury fanboys.

The guy is only 16 fights old!! IBF, British and Commonwealth titles in 16 fights. Amongst that he fought his most fierce rival.

No, he hasn't fought Wach or Povetkin level yet. Because you have to get there first and he's only just arrived in style too!!

These Fury fans should ask who did Fury fight in his first 16?

His 20th fight was against Kevin Johnson where he won on points and Joshua knocked him out in 2.

His biggest scalps are Hammer and Abell and a resilient Chisora. Not that I like picking holes in his record though because he's been great for the division.

Joshua couldn't have done much more up to this point.

Funny how before the Martin fight there was a lot of talk of this being a risk. An undefeated southpaw and a one way ticket to the big league. Then after he knocks him out Martin is a terrible champion.

I think most people know that though. It's just Fury and his loyal followers spouting that off.

Imagine if Povetkin beat Wilder and Wlad beat Fury. Both fights are high risk for the Champions.  Far from routine defences. That would mess up some promoters!!!

  14. Find it hard to believe Klitshcko would lose on purpose. He's already a legendary heavyweight.

Fury is more than happy to talk Klitshcko up right now. "He nearly knocked me out twice" and his first day back at training in poor shape etc. It's him playing games again I'd bet on it.

Did anyone see the state of the fighter that Dave Ryan was supposed to fight?

Khan v Canelo soon isn't it? Be big hype around it and fair play to Khan for going looking for the Hollywood fights but I think Canelo will be comfortable.

Roll on the day when someone blasts that Billy Joe Saunders. Tit. Tyson and Peter Fury are sound but the whole lot of the rest I can't stand. That whole clique. "Travelling people". Fook off.

Why does no heavyweight ever mention Ortiz?

  15. Fury is definitely an actor. He really knows his division. He does plenty of homework. He's like Mourinho... doesn't always believe what he's saying and says stuff for attention.

He talked himself to a World Championship fight. He's not the prettiest or most powerful boxer. But he's huge and that obviously causes problems on its own. Without him finding ways to disrupt you.

I find it surprising that he's expected to win again v Klitshcko. I can see him winning but I can see him getting beat just as easily.

While nobody has exploited Joshua's weakness (unless you count his loss of composure v Whyte in a personal affair) these top guys will want to fight him as they'll want to take him into late rounds.

Parker v Takam is for a mandatory shot at the IBF next January. So Joshua v Parker next Jan? Other heavy weights are busy over the next couple of months. Only really leaves September to fight a big name?

The heavyweight division look very exciting. I'd like to see Joshua v Deontay Wilder, the battle of the Olympians. Would be one hell of a fight

Awww mate. When Joshua gets to that level it will be the greatest.

Wilder is ironically wild. He's not a round by round fighter and neither is Joshua. Two blokes who have really blown the heavyweight division up. Knock out artists.

I just hope AJ doesn't take it too soon. Wilder needs to come through Povetkin first.

AJ can pick his fights now. Everyone sees his lack of rounds and his 0 as a carrot. They'll fancy their chances in the latter rounds.

Ideally Parker would drum up enough interest to get AJ. Also Whyte could give him rounds again.

Wach is out there some where.

AJ is on a very difficult situation now as he's destroyed his way to the elite level.

With Hughey Fury they are building him. AJ has too much power to build slowly.

Now he finds himself under the radar of Fury and Co. Fury isn't the idiot he pretends to be. He knows his division. He's a proper student.

AJ now needs to tread carefully.

Really disappointed with Martin. AJ got nothing from that except a bigger target on his back

  17. OOoooh Anthony Joshua!!!

I was hoping Martin would give him much needed rounds.

    Wanted 20 seconds sit down!!

So many people calling Joshua out. He should be chasing them!! All bullies wanting him before he gets serious rounds under his belt
