Would love to give a photo credit, but no idea who took it!

Lots of short memories here from the people wanting to release Fozzy. It’s barely a matter of weeks since his 90 minutes against Bolton did arguably as much as any other performance by any other player at any point in the season to get us promoted.
Sure, he’s getting on and may no longer be a starter in the Championship, but it takes more than eleven players to see out a season and I can’t see him letting us down.

I was looking back at pre-season threads to see how the general feel for the season was, compared to how it went (around page 26 if you’re interested) and came across this. One of the many threads where Daniel never gave up faith even if things weren’t going too well.
I looked up and saw his tribute on the scoreboard, and that was just as good as the goals for me yesterday.

I spent yesterday morning reading through threads Daniel had created at various stages early season. 
It was a very inspiring start to a momentous day.

I appreciate what people are saying about keeping him as cover and his playing time being limited, but if Foz stays fit I wouldn’t bet against him being a first choice centre half! The man’s a legend.

Was more worried about sanctions from pitch invasion than it as a celebration. Suspect slight early finish was agreed by all parties. The Bolton result meant it didnt matter. We're west upper and it looked magnificent. We really enjoyed it especially on realising players were in the middle of it. Cash staggering out of the crowd with his can was a favourite moment. I'm short so would have seen nothing if on the pitch and with my mum! Could see the players in the directors box, the trophy presentation and that crowd. Truly an unforgettable day

Love that the players went into town to mix it with the fans, could have easily gone to a pub privately booked out but no. Lots of taxis available in town as well ahem.

Would feel like the Wales DVD, at the same time f*** it, would give those fans that wanted their lap of honour to applaud, can do it through the city.
Rival fans want to mock? Go for it. Was only a couple of years ago we had 4 players on the books. 
Not like we’ve spent millions to fight it out with Luton and Burnley.
This team need to see what this achievement means to us all.

Two things I noticed. When the team were having a photo taken with their kids, Wildsmith was holding up Thompson like a kid. And Robert Lindsay doing his Citizen Smith salute in the director's box.

I’ve spent this morning looking at all the celebrations of yesterday on the net and have to say am proud of the Rams Family and how you have exuded joy and jubilation. Also the support I’ve been part of at away games this year; it’s been exceptional. Thank you for being great fans. 

Don't know whether people noticed, but when the players walked out onto the pitch with their kids pre-match, Sibley had Fozzy's son with him. Nice touch.
May have been other younger players with similar, but it demonstrates the togetherness in the squad.

Well done to everyone who stuck by Paul Warne.
Especially, well done and thank you to David Clowes who held his nerve when it probably could have been easy to give in to the noisy minority.
The records we have broken this season will remain for a long time and days like yesterday don't come around too often.
Warne has more than earned his shot at Championship football next season.

I really like him and always have. I love a man manager, because lack of ability can often be overcome by a desire to perform. I’d certainly play my heart out for him. Decent, honest man. Thanks Paul 👏

I have to confess that even though I was strongly against a pitch invasion - in favour of allowing the players and their families to do their lap of appreciation, it actually panned out rather well and the players appearing by the directors seating worked a treat. Even those of us still in the stands had a good view on the big screen. The presentations actually worked very well with the players (plus DC and PW) being surrounded by fans rather than in the middle of the pitch with just the sponsors banners. 
 
So, I was wrong. What a great day.
One final word, is it possible to love Ebou anymore with his fine interviews and jigging around? What a character.

There some days that become unforgettable memories - today was one of them.

Paul Warne, well done Sir! I have  been negative about how we played this year but the final result speaks for itself. Now you have really earned your chance to lead the team at the next level and I both believe and hope that the style of play will fit better in our new league.
Always thought Rotherham were a tough nut to crack and with just a few better players coming it will be an interesting continuation to follow.
Thanks to a really good fellow!

I trust his abilities. We may not be play off contenders next season but given half decent recruiting we won’t be struggling.
 
PW and his team know what they are doing.  A small upgrade in first touch/natural ball skills, signing Ebou and a scary striker and we won’t be pushovers. 
I don’t agree with the criticism of his football style. It was designed and shaped by the necessity to get out of this league. This league isn’t pretty, the football often isn’t perfect either. We are somewhere else now. I am looking forward to the next chapter.?
