This thread has a sad inevitability about it.
Whether it's now, tomorrow, next week, next year or whenever, half of the fans will say that he was never suitable and they said all along that he should go, and the other half will still be defending him.
I know that this is modern day football in a nutshell but wasn't it nice last year when these kind of debates didn't happen, everybody was pulling in the same direction and just being supporters in its purest sense.

Loughborough Ram got a reaction from FlyBritishMidland in Poll: what do you think of it so far? (Warne's tenure)
We are where we should be in my opinion. The top three or four are better than us and we are among the next five or six teams vying for the playoffs.
I think that if we are given some room for manoeuvre in the transfer market this summer we will see a better version of the way Paul Warne wants to play.
I also think that if we get an outcry for Warnes head it would be unfair pressure on David Clowes because I'm sure that economically and morally he would like to stick with Warne

In fairness, I think that mcgoldrick was in an offside position when Cashin headed the ball.
Now whether he was interfering is something that is open to debate, but with the rules as they are and with the utter incompetence of the officials these days, it just adds another level of confusion to an already ridiculous situation

Forest are just a horrible side. They have bought a host of cheats, divers, whingers, whiners, and generally obnoxious players and made sure that every time a decision is made they harrang the referee and put pressure on him from the first minute to the last.
Their main tactic seems to be play frenetic matches, and cause mayhem and chaos throughout making it impossible for opponents and officials to get any kind of rhythm or flow, and hoping that as a result mistakes are made.
Yesterday koyate(?) and Costa clashed which resulted in Koyate(?) kicking Costa right in front.of the ref, so a melee ensued and podence was accused of spitting and the actual issue of the kick on Costa was completely forgotten.
It goes without saying that I hope they go down but it would also be a blessing for the Premiership, they are the modern day Leeds without the footballing ability.

My biggest disappointment with Warne is his apparent inability to recognise the importance of set pieces.
In my opinion we pose absolutely no threat from set pieces, the delivery is generally poor and there appears to be very little planning when it comes to what exactly we intend to do with them.

In my opinion the game is lost if that foul on White is a penalty. We are already heading for a non contact sport, if fans now accept that an honest challenge for the ball should be given as a penalty then let's all knock it on the head and go home.
You have to score when you're playing well, it's always been true and unfortunately it is that, more than anything, that is holding us back at the moment. Get that right and everything else will fall into place.

I understand it is the default setting of many football supporters to feel that officials are against their team and to moan about it, but 'Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't after you'.
    1) Football was done in 1992.
I think the formation of the PL that was purely financially driven has caused many problems in the top football leagues and is creating a different sort of 'product', what with the effects of parachute payments, disparity between the PL and the Championship, and now state ownership of clubs and sportswashing. It doesn't mean that football is done, but that certain aspects of competitiveness if the upper leagues currently is.
    2) If Dobbin had gone down in the opposite box with the same contact, and got us a 2-1 win he would have been a hero, and football would be ok again, and this thread would have never existed.
Key phrase missing is 'and the the ref gave us a penalty'. I can't recall us getting too many soft decisions this season.
    3) All this EFL influenced officialdom is boring. Most refs are crap in this division, and the Championship. Stop bloody moaning.
I admit to being boring. So much so that after several seasons of feeling that key decisions go against us, and this affects our overall position in the league and it doesn't 'even itself out at the end of the season', that in 20/21 I kept a very nerdy spreadsheet of controversial decisions in our games, both for and against. We came out with -8 or -9 points due to these.
It's all very well taking each game one at a time and saying well, ok, that decision went against us and cost us the draw or win, but we didn't deserve the points so it doesn't matter. Football results aren't decided on performance or merit, but the scores on the doors at the end of the match. At present it feels like we need to create ourselves a goal buffer to allow for poor decisions.
    Also, I like moaning.

He didn't fall over his keg, there was no contact, sky said as much, he just dived.
It's only recently that simulation was punishable offence but it seems that its something to celebrate these days
The ref apologised to Corey Smith saying that he may have got it wrong for f*cks sake, what f*ckin use is that?

Watching SKY it's easy to see that football is eventually going to die.
Whatever her name is, Jamie Mackie and Cowley 1 or 2 discussing tonight's penalty, said its a hard one to call, justifying the player cheating by saying White stuck his leg out so minimal if any contact was enough to dive, and praising the ref for giving a positive decision.
THE GAME IS DYING, and this mealy mouthed approval is just helping it on his way.
The Plymouth guy dived, they beat us because they cheated and that is apparently OK. We'll it isn't ok with me, you make your own minds up
