Nice half time piece on RamsTV about Colin Todd donating his 1975 PFA player of the year trophy to the DCFC cabinet.

I’ve done the Ship, Turks, Turtle bay, back to the Ship, back to the hotel, espresso martinis, some other random cocktails, back on the beer now. # football away days 😂

My dad's gone the same way.
I'd never really heard him express any strong political opinions until recently, now he's banging on about immigration, scroungers and such like.
It like he's forgotten he's married to an immigrant, in fact he married the same one twice ffs!

This eruption is over, but things are going from bad to much much worse.  Geothermal hot water pumped from the Svartsengi power station supplies house heating for the entire outer peninsula.  The old pipeline got eaten by magma, but work had started in January to lay another pipe underground in case of the first one being ruined.  There has been a race against time to get that extra pipeline finished, so that during this frosty time, peoples houses wouldn't get damaged and water freeze in pipes.
The electric output of Svartsengi is very limited now, heating with electricity creates blackouts and so therefor not a viable option.  Last night, just after the new pipe was finished it got destroyed by magma and so now 25-30 thousand people are in freezing homes and all gas heaters are sold out.  It will take many days, if not weeks to lay another pipe.  Emergency meetings are being held of course.  Oh and land has again begun rising under Svartsengi.

Thank you, I’m putting together the memories.
I had a great time in Derby and up in the Peaks. I rolled out along the A52 about 4PM, lights were on at Pride Park - I guess you were all in there.
Thanks for everyone’s help, I’ll be back soon.

I'm just moaning, I'll pay it even if it doubled, annoying though as Amazon know it.
That wasn't even my renewal email, saw it online and was like no no no, come on. Like you we pay the monthly fee now as it includes all cameras you attach, prior to the kids arriving I think it was something like £2.50 a month.
I'm hoping our plan is not increasing and it's just the singular options, which you can see the thinking, bridge the price gap tempting people to go all out and kit the house out with their cameras which to be fair, are reasonably priced for the quality.
All comes out the joint account which is solely ran by the Mrs, starting to question why I started the topic and if I'm honest, it was probably just the opportunity to create a topic called Ring Sting was too good to pass on.

Welcome to my world. My first trip of the season to Pride Park today. Only the second time all season that my Saturday off work has coincided with a home game so I'm taking full advantage. Don't let me down you beautiful Rams. UTR.

I’ve found the entrance to former Eagle Market, had some strong memory vibes close to the Castle & Falcon. Also River Gardens were a clear memory, felt like they hadn’t changed much.
I wonder if anyone remembers a record shop in the city centre, entrance off a main road, and up some stairs - the record shop was on the first floor? Early 1980s.
Having a great time exploring, even in the rain.

They had those long bamboo sticks with a hook on the end to change the poles, in wet weather the cables would spark especially when they went over a cable junction.
And the penalty for spitting on a bus was 10\-
Sitting upstairs on a Trolly bus watching Boker Wright and Winnie Austin fighting outside the Spotted Horse, such memories. 🙄

That game in 1975 was the 26th of April, this year it’s one day later.
I was there that day, it would be nice to repeat it this season with my son and grandson by my side.

If we get past easter one or two points from automatic we'll do it.
    Last 4 games,
    Wycombe A
    Orient H
    Cambridge A
    Carlisle H
Just nick 2nd spot with a win at Cambridge and have an end of season celebration party at home to Carlisle.
    Bit like 1975.

Plenty to take from those stats….
Posh playing their few games mostly at home- but their pitch is crap like ours at the moment so that might not help them…
Bolton lots of games as expected…
Bottom line is that it’s all to play for and there will be many twists and turns….and we MUST beat Bolton at home and certainly not lose away at Pompey…

Not quite a flag, but as good a place as any for this:
Hangovers bar, outside the front gate of Sennelager camp. They had a forest and a Leicester shirt up there, but no derby shirt. This was inaceptable, so I had to donate my shirt for the cause.

Many years ago, like early 1980s I used to spend school holidays in Littleover with my cousins.

Years later my daughter has moved to Derby and I’m finding myself back there often, I will be there for a few days from this Thursday.
I’ve been in the city centre trying to remember it. There was no Derbion back then of course but I remember a big indoor market. A bit dark inside there was a stall where everyone used to get their Pod shoes, kids were all wearing Farah trousers, Fred Perry shirts and waffle knit jumpers.
Is that indoor market still there anywhere? Where can I find it? If it is gone then where was it? Almost grateful for any help from any folk.

btw, used to catch the first game of the season if it was at Baseball Ground. Derby County in second division. Great memories of standing in the Pop side.

    thanks in advance.
