You might know this but Efes have been producing their own range of craft beers under the brand Bomonti for a few years now. They're all pretty drinkable.
Yes. I drink Bomonti Filteriz if just faced with the standard beers.

Did my annual pilgrimage to Dalyan in Turkey and there is now a micro brewery nearby called Gara Guzu.
So instead of bland Efes I've been drinking porters, IPAs, Amber's and Winter Ale.
Not Belgian quality but a massive improvement on the usual fare

It's 17 years since I went there, so specific recommendations might be out of date, but it's a great city. Barrio Alto for bars and nightlife, Gulbenkian museum for culture, Belem for the original custard tart bakery and the palace, Fado to understand the soul of Lisbon, ride the cute streetcars up the steep streets and walk down. Bus to beautiful Sintra if you fancy a day out of the city.
All good advice. I would add if you go to Belem for the custard tarts, go to the cafe next door to the shop. Costs 10 pence more but you don't queue for 20 minutes. Belem also has a nice Fort on the riverfront with a museum next to it.
Cascais can reached by tram and train and is a lovely beach resort.
If you like nice beer there is a beer cafe on the NW corner of the main riverside square.
The trams are great with about 10% of them being the old vintage ones. If you see one, jump on for a couple of stops just for the experience.

As Cashin is still regarded as a young player, he will wun that at a canter, so I've gone Nelson for POTS as he's been good all year long
If Collins, Forsyth and NML hadn't got injured or run into the ground they'd have been in the running too.
Then there's Adams. If he'd been here all season, playing like this, he'd have won comfortably

Are we at the stage that we want Posh to do quite well so they still have a chance v Bolton

Probably a silly question but I’m still getting back into football and learning. Are players like Adams reluctant to sign a contract (putting aside pay details etc) because they want to know if Derby will be in the championship first? If not, they are on the lookout for offers from championship clubs. I appreciate everyone is always open to better deals.
There are 4 motivations
Length of contract x weekly wage
Level to play at
Geography
Happy with club, teammates and coach
On that basis, if Geography works, I think he would come from Cardiff, if we go up and a fee is agreed.
Lots to fall into place.

For the championship Cash, Nelson, Ward, Smith, Adams, NML, CBT.
Bench Barks, Sibs, Thompson.
Prems too far away would have to see how they'd get on in the Champ first.
I would imagine on age alone, Nelson, Smith and NML wouldn't be part of the ultimate journey.
-
Out of our current squad, who would be good enough to establish themselves as a championship regular in a upper half team or maybe be a decent be.ch player.
Could anyone still play if we got promoted to the Premier League?

What's any of that got to do with Derby County? You were warned by more discerning posters it would be a Radio Derby announcement and indeed it was.
Unless, something big is being revealed on Monday and that's why RD will be there all day.

Bang on. I agree with the vast majority of his opinions, but his demeanour just rubs me up the wrong way. Puts me off following his stuff.
The book is better than his radio, you get the content without the 'personality'

I went to see Catfish and the Bottlemen a few years back, not long after it had opened. The layout limits it, and the sound quality was toss. Maybe it's improved since, but all it seems to be used for is spoken stuff (comedy, panto, etc)
Hopefully the Becketwell venue will be good when it opens.
We need a 2-3000 venue.

I watched the actual game -as I assume did you- so have 100% of the info, why on earth would I downgrade to an estimate of what I just watched? Why use a pre-shot model when I have the post-shot version that actually happened?
xG is an estimate for teams or games you haven't watched (and even then it's very hit-and-miss if not useless for individual games)
A great example of the flaws of xG when used in isolation. It gives 0.15 or less for 3 of the goals (which should always measure 1), just 0.1 for their open goal (as close to a goal as it can get), 0.15 for the Nelson, Collins and Cbt openings which were all poor attempts (and 2 of which in the same sequence), and zero for their penalty claim which if given would be almost 1.
Good Lord. The quality of the shot itself has no bearing on the xg.
It's the percentage chance of each chance scoring.
