  1. Brilliant strike from Dobs...fully deserved. When Tommo scored you could see the sadness in his eyes that it wasn't him who got on the scoresheet while obviously pleased for his teammate.A bit peeved about the criticism on here from some tb h ..he's what 19 years old? I believe Harry Kane was on loan at a couple of clubs from Spurs at roughly the same age and certainly wasn't pulling up any trees.I'm confident  the lad will have a very good career in the game.

Does anyone remember when Real Madrid once lost to a third tier side in the Copa del Rey?

Or when they lost to a Moldovan side in the Champions League?

Footballers and coaches are human. Off nights can happen. Upsets can happen.

This is only worrying if we follow up tonight with poor shows v Ipswich, Exeter and Bristol Rovers.

    Let’s see.

I don't think this was an upset.A third divisions reserve team lost  to the Under 21s of one of the best and richest club sides in the world. An upset? Nope.

Dyche? Really don’t see that at all.

Also, Clowes might be a quiet and private man, yet some things will naturally get leaked.

Warne and Rosenior’s agents, mates, family I mean there is only so much you can keep quiet and this is a lot more likely than a manager that was harshly removed from his job in the Premier League.

Dyche will have a lot of better offers in a matter of weeks, Premier League to League 1, nah.

    Mr Cox?

Except when they play Derby. Our defeat to them at home about 2017 time (think it was 3-1?) broke a streak of something like 60 of their FA Cup games that were on TV in a row.

Are you sure? Could've sworn I watched on TV.

    Didn't George Thorne equalise?

Though obvious, It's worth pointing out that what you experience as a general visitor/tourist will usually be very different to what you may have experienced as a visiting football supporter, certainly in the 1968-1990 period. Experiences stay with people, good and bad. I've had few experiences bad enough to dislike anywhere particularly, and certainly not in Liverpool, but I've come across nobheads everywhere. Good people though tend to outnumber bad people in most places.

Agree 100%! I've been lucky enough to visit the fantastic city of Istanbul as a tourist....I only experienced friendliness and kindness. But having read horrendous reports of stabbings etc I wouldn't dream of traveling there as an away fan.

  6. When I look at the updated league table and see that we Derby County... the biggest team in this league... are the joint lowest scorers in the division.. along with Shrewsbury and Morecambe.. then yes I'm feeling very frustrated and a little worried. Not particularly just this season but the last 3 years with Liam as coach with basically the same system. We have struggled massively to score away from home.I believe last season we lost 8 or 9 games on the trot before the Blackpool match with us barely scoring...lots of those games we lost 1-0. Sadly so far in 3 away games the same pattern is developing..not a single goal scored. It shows this system away from home is simply not working and it needs to change fast or our hopes of top six will be dashed.

Can you think of a Derby side that created so many chances over an entire season and failed to convert them? I can only think of 04/05 where we hit the woodwork 15 times but even then we finished 4th.

My point is nobody is this wasteful for long. Either we start scoring or the chances dry up altogether, but this, this does not last an entire season.

Are you forgetting last season with Liam as coach..same system.. and we lost 9 away games on the bounce and we hardly scored a goal.Deja Vu?

  8. Yep I was there...we made Man Utd look like mugs..Best Charlton and Law included. And went the week before v Fulham.I remember the hired coach driving up and down the King's Rd...It was sweltering hot and as a 16 year old my eyes were poping out of my head at all the Chelsea model type girls in there mini skirts.(Swinging London).Fantastic day out I've never forgotten.
