3 wins in a row for Coventry. It just shows you doesn't it, with the right mentality, spirit and application it is doable. In the space of a week, they have gone from being in serious danger to guaranteeing safety. If they can do it, why can't we?

Err... because they (just like Brum) have a fully trained professional manager in charge.. it makes s big difference! Who'd have thought it eh?

I think Rotherhams red card will be recinded, however it doesnt change the fact they have had a huge fixture pile up and then had to play 75mins tonight with 10 men so works in our favour still.

Yes we have been bad but Rotherham have given us another lifeline with their 3rd home defeat in a row.

Lets hope Barnsley & Brentford beat them and put a few past them to help the goal difference.

Also, despite how poor we have been, Rotherham have got 33 points from 39 games if you exclude their 6 points against us, so they deserve to go down as much as we do. Only Sheff W fans can really feel aggrieved if their 6 point deduction is what sends them down.

Well said..I think we've all been guilty of bigging up Rotherham like they are bound to win all their games in hand and that  subsequently we are doomed.I believe that's now 3 home defeats on the bounce and while I can accept their fixture pile-up and tonight's red card have not exactly helped they are below is for a reason. We are poor this season but equally they must be also to be lower in the table.

It's that kind of thinking that got us into this position to begin with. We can't afford to think we're too big to go down. We aren't.

Eh? I haven't seen a single poster on this whole thread who has stated we are too big to go down. Not one.

If this takeover goes through then we will be incredibly lucky if it works out for the best for us as paying the bills is going to be hard.

next season I still don’t think there will be away fans in grounds and I do not think we will get past 50% capacities

finances are going to be extremely tight especially for the non parachute clubs

Have you not read Boris's roadmap which says and I quote..'All restrictions lifted by 21st June?

What an entirely foreseeable situation. It seems the only person who couldn’t see it was Frank himself.

He was so naive in taking the Chelsea job. He should have stayed here and grown with the club. Getting us promoted and re-established in the PL would have reflected far better on him as a manager.

For such a seemingly intelligent bloke, the lack of common sense and long-term thinking was astounding.

He knows exactly how both Chelsea as a club and Roman as an owner operate so he should have recognised that the moment he stopped hitting club targets, he would be at risk.

If no protection, time or patience was afforded to managers like Mourinho, Ancelotti and Conte, why would Roman treat him any differently?

You seem to be contradicting yourself..first you say Frank was naive...then he knew exactly how Chelsea and Roman operate...your second point is the correct one...he was at Chelsea for more than 10 years and knew exactly what he was getting into.. He wasn't remotely naive. He knew the score.

Don't agree on this. With one or two exceptions, and they are one or two, average players with us have gone on to be average players at other clubs. Where I do feel there has been a problem is that too often (kind of obviously, given where we are) we've replaced them with similar or worse.

Weimann is probably an exception, he's a better player, better finisher and more valued squad member than he was with us. Johnson you could argue is just doing what he always did but probably on a more sensible salary. Neither Bennett nor Malone have played for Milwall, Nugent scored one in 24 for Preston last season - if you're missing that then I have nothing more to say.

Neither Bennett or Malone have played for Millwall? Really,? I think you should re-check that.
