We've had a smart meter for about 4 years and no problems - PFP Energy & then British gas, when they went bust. At least now I don't have to try & remember to do meter readings.
The screen thing that comes with it has never left the box and is in one of the kitchen junk drawers. I don't need to see how much electric & gas I'm using in real time. I'm quite likely to obsess about it and piss off the household (more).

I don't want to ban puns permanently but perhaps just faraday.

We should be grateful for Oldben's input. His well thoughtout and original  precis on veried subjects are invaluable in stimulating discussion.

Over 50% of you go to watch Derby because its a habit, something you have always done, rather than because you enjoy it.

- Ed Dawes is a high quality local radio commentator and critics are ignorant to the standard of local commentary around the country
- Graham Richards became a bumbling confused and inaccurate local radio commentator for the last few years of his commentary
- Derby fans have been generally spoilt/blessed over the last 40 years by the sheer quality of coverage provided by BBC Radio Derby
- Gary Teale was underrated and would easily be our star player right now
- "Legends" Bobby Davison and Igor Stimac couldn't wait to get away from Derby County and lacked loyalty

AmericanRam was never coming over to watch a Derby game. Had zero intention.

Keogh is a club legend. Much more so than Curtis Davies.

Will Hughes is a fairly average player. Greatly overrated by most Derby fans.
