They may have got things right on the pitch recently but this seems onimous , it gives me last days of Mel vibes. Owner no longer putting cash in and just borrowing it, until the credit runs out. I'm not bothered if they get points deduction and relegation but I really hope thay don't have to go through the insolvency s****.

The airline that 777 owned in Australia was put into administration a couple of days ago.

  2. Retired at 59, not sure about your superannuation system but here your employer has to put in 11% and depending on what union eba, employees top up on top of that I think 3-4%. A flat 15% tax rate on monies going in so a good incentive to up top up personally. After age 60 any outgoings is tax free. At 67 you can get the aged pension.
When I retired I spent 9 months refurbishing both my daughters homes as well as plenty of travel. I had a local school wanting me to help with casual maintenance 3 years ago and word of mouth I’m now doing 3 days at 3 different schools a week. Good thing is I go on holidays whenever I want. Leaving for Scotland, Croatia and England for 6 weeks in 12 hours.

Just watched that! You got to see a great game, hope you’re not too soaked! The NRL is my second sporting love.

Got a bit of a touch up tonight. Bit of a learning curve for our youngsters. 6 new players so far this year so onwards to Cronulla next week. Got absolutely soaked but I got to try out my new wet weather gear for our 6 day hike in Scotland so all good.

How do you sleep at night?!

All good mate, they’d rather bolt instead of fighting. Just have to treat them with respect, there’s been a few deaths already this year. I’ve had to move a couple from our school, they get s*** scared of 500 kids surrounding them.

    Always a brilliant experience.

One of the best AC/DC gigs I ever saw was at Punchestown a few years back (checks YouTube - bloody Nora, 15 years ago). Angus performing an amazing solo on the cherry-picker in the most torrential rainstorm.

I’m a bit old school, haven’t seen them since Bon died. Just wouldn’t be the same.

The Greenhouse up the road is the nearest thing in belper to a Spoons, sky sports, food, dancing and fighting of a weekend.

Would suit a Crocodile Dundee type of fella right down to the ground!  They may ask you to leave your Bowie knife at the door though?

Sounds like my sort of pub, I thought I kept the video of my dance skills clearing the floor at Jorrocks locked up.

... And the little crafter/makers shop ("The Cabin") just 131ft off King St (down Campbell St, which is dead opposite the Railway pub), if you'd be so kind.  😁

Perhaps consider a small purchase of a new fabric specs case, or even a purse etc, for you journey home.  Other fabric items are available from Muckerette's own little portion of the shop, plus lots of other tempting hand made items of all description, from the numerous other makers.

Will do mate, appreciate getting local knowledge when visiting new places.
