This is down to that deal the EFL did with the PL isn't it?
Where they can just come around academies, whisk them away and leave a curly whirly on the side for us if they haven't played X number of games on a first team contract.

Did anybody listen to Parry on sportscene, In the bit about banging heads together he clearly said one head was missing the PB. Does that mean in only 12 months the arbitration  tribunal have come to the conclusion that Boro are in the right and they need to talk to the PB to decide the damages. Why not talk to the current owners the administrators. Does not sound at all right to me

I have read it and understood it, but at no point does it ever suggest they would be unable to support Quantuma's position. I'm truly baffled as to how you have taken that from the paragraph.

GB SPORTS reacted to SBW in Steve Gibson trying to liquidate Derby
It's all well and good all parties getting their relative appendages out and waving them about.
What doesn't seem to be happening is Q tackling the issue and seeking to resolve it.  We and they can argue as much as they like about the claims, EFL not accepting PB status cos of the claims and a potential owner not wanting to purchase the club without knowing the claims are resolved or how they will be resolved, or if there will be punishment coming out of Admin.
But the EFL, Boro and Wycombe aren't budging, if anything it seems like Gibson's stubborn resolve is only getting stronger.

The EFL mentioned 3 possible solutions of how to deal with the claim issues, why the hell aren't Q choosing the best one and getting on with it?!

I don't care about how unfair it is, how they need to give in, how they're on the ropes from MP pressure.  None of those things solve the issue.

Feels an awful lot like Q are sat playing a very dangerous game of poker.  Could end up very badly for DCFC.  They will waddle off into the sunset with their millions though, regardless...

...I have booked flights and match tickets in anticipation that this maybe the last game. I am perhaps being a little over dramatic, but I could never live with the feeling should it come to fruition and i wasn´t there.

I'm sure somebody from Quantuma will read this.
I think the way they've handled what can only be described as 'a situation they'll probably never have to deal with again and made difficult in many ways' very well and they seem to be the only ones who come out of this with any credibility.
We as supporters are obviously wanting answers everyday but that's not possible. I also believe that the admins was taken down a garden path by the EFL who led them to believe we could name a preferred bidder until the goalpost was changed last minute.
The EFL would have been laughing at Wayne Rooney after hearing his press conference last Thursday knowing that after the Quantuma's meeting with the EFL, we wouldn't be announcing a preferred bidder.
It's clear as day that the EFL, Boro and Wycombe are trying to turn DCFC fans against Quantuma - Don't let that happen, Quantuma IMO have been very good in all of this and deserve some huge praise. We heard it from Owen Bradley that these guys are doing everything they can.
As a supporter base we've been excellent all season but even more so in the past 7 days - Let's keep sticking together and one day very soon, we'll get rewarded and the future will be black and white, without any doubt.

I suppose this is why people say that Mike Ashley may leave it until the last second!
As we approach liquidation date, Middlesbrough's expected income from their claim approaches zero; as does the value of the stadium.
Ashley can take it or leave it. So, Middlesbrough may blink first. Middlesbrough may prefer a smaller settlement, than get nothing.
Sadly, we fans may have to endure things going to the wire.

That's my hope - when all these folk are demanding a statement or an update from the Admins they almost seem to think that they're just sitting around twiddling their thumbs - I'm much happier to wait for substantial news rather than a meaningless press release....

Whoever owns the car park outside the Riverside Stadium, as I tripped over a loose/dislodged lump of tarmac, broke my ankle, and had to take 5 weeks off work.
This happened on Saturday, 12th February 2022, at 14:27.

I also broke my crystal ball during this traumatic event, as it was in my coat pocket, so I can no longer practice my fortune-telling sessions, which I have been doing in the evenings, to earn an extra few quid.  I have been doing this from March 2021, until August 2023... but don't tell the tax man.

This arbitrary deadline of 1st Feb strikes me as another example of the EFL trying to bully and blackmail the club.
If the club can't provide evidence of sufficient funding to see us through until the end of the season it doesn't actually mean we won't be able to complete the season. We just can't prove it by the deadline they want to impose. Who would it benefit if we were expelled? Certainly not the creditors, players, staff, fans or other clubs. Not even the EFL. I can see the argument for keeping the transfer embargo in place but not expulsion.

Tell me, how many people think Leicester are "tainted"? They payed no one, and I know the rules changed after they went into administration. But does anybody say,"not going to the match today, it's Leicester, and they let all those businesses go to the wall"? No one cares.
