    Given that we have half a team under contract for next season, would you rather the club allowed an Engalnd U21 international to simply walk away at the end of his contract? The 'no brainer' bit is extending his contract and either playing him next season or else selling him for a relatively decent fee.....

    Something has clearly changed behind the scenes as we now appear to have more flexibility - whether (as has been suggested) that's due to the EFL realising that we won't be able to field a team next season or whether it's to do with the takeover, we'll probably never know.....
